Amazing
AAdy.kVery good experience always someone to help you out and give you good tips !
The rooms are clean and tidy, the aircon is amazing !
Showers have good debit and hot water if needed ! I recommend this place to stay !
Only thing is you probably need to rent a bike to go around but they have cheap place to rent bikes.
In front of the hostel is an amazing French cafe that is delicious
LLiliya Ts.A great place, really. Everything is thoughtfully designed, with unlimited drinking water, a coffee maker, a refrigerator, tea, and coffee. A minibar is available for an extra fee, along with toiletries. The room is clean, housekeeping is daily, and breakfast is always the same, but delicious. Fun birds liven up the grounds, though if you're a light sleeper, it can be noisy, with the birds in the morning and the neighbors at night. You can play tennis, foosball, or billiards. Masks and vests can be rented for 150 pesos. The location is great, everything is close by. I only have good impressions, I recommend it 👍
GGuest User1000% recommend. Probably one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. I booked an extra day when I was there as it was so chill and easy to relax in. Dorm rooms and showers was super clean and comfortable. Every staff member was so lovely and welcoming and easy to talk to and always went out of their way to help you. They also know people by name which is so nice when there is so many guests, just such a family friendly vibe. The pool and swim up bar was a plus. Free tea, coffee and a water dispenser available all day. Thank you for such a pleasant stay and hopefully will come back one day!
GGuest UserI can confidently say this is the best hotel in Moalboal, it outperforms other 3-4 star hotels in the area. I know this because I spent my last two nights at another 4-star hotel, which really difference. The location is very good, with restaurants and bars steps away, The prime location puts restaurants and bars within a 5-minute walk, Rooms come fully equipped and impeccably clean, while the staff go above and beyond with their genuinely warm service. As a solo traveler, I particularly appreciated these qualities and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling alone.
AAlmark OrtegaThis place is highly recommended. The place is neat and perfect for tourists. The price of the food is quite expensive but it's worth it. Overall experience is great! We wanna go back soon, if given the chance. Thank you to the friendly staff of the hotel, as well as the administration.
UuulissiThe hotel is in more private location compared to most resorts in Moalboal. This is a quiet area, with private access to the sea, which is very shallow and easily accessible, particularly during low tide. Resorts itself is nice, the pool was OK, diving also enjoyable, although cylinders were a bit on the empty side. Staff was always very nice. Unfortunately, food was not so good and overpriced, we had much better things to eat in other resorts or in town, which is 10-20 minutes away by tuk tuk.
AAdventuraSolaNice resort near beautiful White Beach in Moalboal. Perfect for people who like lounging on the beach, diving, and/or want a stress free vacation in a resort. It’s about a three hour drive from Cebu City and about an hour away from the typical tourist attractions in Moalboal (hence 4 stars for location). They provide basic soap and shampoo so I’d suggest bringing your own toiletries. It’s better for the environment!
RRIf you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, with a refreshing atmosphere in a remote location and especially if you’re into advanced diving this is an excellent place to stay. We stayed for just 1 night, as we wanted to explore other activities and we’re not advanced divers, so we decided to change our plans.
A quick tip: prepare cash in advance. The nearest ATM is quite far from the resort, so you’ll need to take a tricycle or rent a motorbike. The resort only accepts cash.
The highlight for us was the stunning sea view and breathtaking sunset. The property isn’t very large, but with plenty of trees it feels secluded and peaceful. The food was also delicious.
GGuest UserThe hotel is basic, but the price is really affordable. The Wi-Fi in the rooms is poor; you have to go outside to get a good signal. There’s no TV. This wasn't an issue for us, though. There's a water cooler with hot and cold water available at all times, as well as coffee and sugar. It has its own beach access. It's a small beach, but it feels almost private :) It's an excellent spot for snorkeling. The coral is beautiful and very close to shore, so you don't have to swim far. You might even spot turtles and sardines. It's a bit far from other cafes, but there's a cafe right on the beach that will gladly cook meat and other dishes for you. We especially liked the pork and beef – just be sure to ask them to make it 'not sweet,' as Filipinos tend to sweeten everything. The phrase 'no sweet' saves the day! Overall, this hotel is great for a short stay.
GGuest UserMy boyfriend and I spent one week in Kasai village. It’s already been 7 months since we are back home but the hotel is worth receiving the review even after that amount of time. After a loving welcome on our first evening we decided to sign up for an open water diving course, which turned out to be the best decision. Since it was the beginning of the season the hotel was still quite empty and the two of us enjoyed a private course. Our diving instructor Tata was very experienced and highly skilled which made us feel safe at all times during the course. He made the theoretical lessons really interesting which made us eager to learn everything for our final test - which we in the end passed with good results ;) On our last day we wanted to show off our diving skills and booked a trip to see the whale sharks. After asking, Tata even agreed to be our private guide for the day! Thanks for that! We want to highlight especially the lovely restaurant-team. The staff was incredibly friendly and always asked us about our day without being annoying at any time. Our special thanks goes to Maccoy and Ranessa (I apologise for the bad spelling 😋) which almost made us feel part of the family. The resort itself is I credibly beautiful, right by the sea and a big outdoor pool area. Apart from that we enjoyed delicious local meals in the hotel restaurant. We highly recommend Kasai village for divers, wanting-to-be-divers but also for travellers that just want to enjoy the beauty of Cebu Island. Thanks to the whole team for a great experience that we will keep in mind for a long time!
