Aldebaran Hotel & Spa

A very attractive and comfortable hotel with warm and well-appointed rooms.. We were very impressed with the service provided by Lucia in particular but all were pleasant. We ate in the restaurant one night and enjoyed everything we chose.

Staff was exceptional, rooms were big, clean and comfortable, views were amazing and the breakfast was delicious! The help we received from the staff went above and beyond, helping us plan the next step of our journey. Swimming in the lake below was a great way to end a day of hiking.

The place is unique, immerse in vegetation and near the lake. Service is top-notch and facilities are of highest level. We had the forest view room and it was so relaxing and calm. Also the SPA section is amazing and since the hotel is pretty small is not so difficult getting the whole spa for yourself alone.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Aldebaran Hotel. It was so quaint and relaxing. We loved location and had dinner every night during our 4 night stay. Whilst menu was not overly extensive the food was excellent. All staff super friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much. Spa is small but did not use whilst there as we were out during the day adventuring. Would definitely recommend and just would advise hiring a car for your stay in the area.

5/5. Hard product - rustic but clean and organized. Plenty of space and amazing views. Had room 5. 2 beds. They were a bit narrow and on the medium firm/soft side but got the job done (we prefer extra extra firm). Lobby and dining great. Soft product - everyone is very kind and helpful. You’ll feel like you’re visiting a friend’s cabin. Helped us book tours in the area. Gave great recommendations for food. Note - we stayed at the Llao Llao and much prefer Aldebaran. The food, service, and quality are much better here.

AMAZING place! INCREDIBLE stay!!! Fist. Let me start by saying the place was wonderful and the rooms just like the photos. They were very spacious and big bathrooms. What really makes this place so great are the people. We felt like they were family. They were so engaging and extremely helpful. Every request was met and they went above and beyond. We could not wait to get back to see Mari Luz (sorry if I spelled the name wrong) and Ezra They were so KIND and TREATED us like we were such special guest. We saw it with the way they also treated the other guest. They really made our stay memorable. We can’t thank them enough and can’t wait to return. Also Clara and Claudia were also just as pleasant and kind. I do believe the staff really makes it a pleasant experience. I saw the reviews about the road being a little out of the way but it was nice being away from the noise and the roads of bariloche. We really loved the views and the food was amazing. I highly recommend the trout croquettes. Everything we had was delicious. You definitely need to rent a car but we found it great to be able to set your own pace. You will not regret staying here. I highly recommend it and wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you to all for making our stay so memorable and telling us about the wonderful gin we tasted from Bariloche. Every time we drink it we will remember the wonder time we had. Gracias!!!!

This is a lovely hotel slightly outside of Bariloche. The room was big and beautiful and had a balcony with a view of the lake. It was peaceful and lovely. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and available all the time even though it was relatively quiet. I also thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub after long days of hiking. The breakfast was decent and you could get eggs cooked how you'd like. It is a bit of a ways down dirt roads and I would definitely recommend a car if you stay there. But the peacefulness was worth it.

My son and I stayed at the hotel for 4 days during the month of February. The “Peninsula” is the best area to stay to avoid the crowded streets of Bariloche. Tons of places to hike a short drive away. The common areas of the hotel were very nice and clean. Quite a relaxing atmosphere with excellent service. Clara and Lucia made us feel at home. They will arrange for transportation, make restaurant reservations and give you good advice of places to explore. The restaurant was a true gem. Food was excellent and Erika took good care of us during our dinners at the restaurant. Also met the young chef that created the delicious dishes. Will definitely come back and stay here again.
