Beautiful location and next to an independent lovely restaurant. Rooms (room 1) is stunning BUT unfortunately both nights we were woken approx 1am with the pungent smell of sewage, so strong we had to evacuate the room having opened all the windows for at least an hour. I reported this to staff in the morning and wrote an email the 2nd night at 1am plus pulled the night porter to see the problem. He was shocked it was so bad. It actually made you nauseous all day. He was very concerned but helpless.The management have not taken it seriously, offering a 20% discount. Bearing in mind two romantic nights were over £700 for basically a room with no sun loungers unless you went next door and these were basic plastic beds no cushions etc. Sorry but they really have no real interest in investigating the issue and a serious health hazard.

The setting of this hotel is stunning and provides some special views. Although not the biggest, the rooms are nicely set out. A big drawback of the hotel is the restaurant booking situation. Apart from the hotel restaurant which gets booked out due to local bookings the only walking alternatives we found were in Sa Tuna. (A bit of a walk along the cliff side). There are a few options here however all these were also booked out for Sunday lunch quite late in season coming out of Covid!! I would recommend the hotel emailing customers making them aware of the need to book restaurants to avoid being left without a meal. The main pool is at the sister location and not the most convenient to get to. There was no bar service at the time we stayed. If staying more than a couple of nights the lack of convenient amenities would begin to disappoint. Recommended for a short stay.

The views are amazing but the customer service is horrible. The management (the one young woman in charge) has no interest in making the stay enjoyable for the guests. In fact it seems they go out of their way to make it unpleasant. They are rude, condescending, and not helpful. The place is stunning but the rooms are dated and run down for the price.

This hotel has nothing to offer other than a beautiful location, but you will pay far too much money for it. First of all, don't believe the hotel's claim to have a restaurant. There is indeed a restaurant adjacent to the hotel, but it will be absolutely impossible to get in, at least during the summer months. The place is fully booked three weeks in advance, I was told, and there are no free rides for those staying at the hotel. Way to the contrary I think. This has unfortunate consequences as the hotel is very isolated, the nearby town of Begur is almost inaccessible by car, so we had to go and dine - poorly - in the beautiful village of Sals, 30 km of curves there and back. This was for three nights. For the rest, room with a nice terrace, but sunny only for a few hours in the morning. The room itself is tiny, very poorly furnished, suitcases have to stay on the floor! Inconceivable at this price. Anemic breakfast served by a remarkably unpleasant staff. The establishment presents itself as a "Relais du Silence", but the bar next to the room plays unbearably vulgar disco music all day. Nice salt water pool on the rocks, but far away and difficult to access. Very scarce parking near the entrance due to the large number of people in the restaurant, of which you will not be one. A few reserved paying spaces, which I was told were occupied, although some were free for the whole duration of our stay... Very lazy WI-Fi As for the word "luxury", we tried in vain to find out what could be luxurious, else than the cost, in this house with an absolutely scandalous quality/price ratio! A most regrettable experience. To be avoided completely.

Great hotel - restaurant was 10/10 - amazing food

Cap Sa Sal welcomes people from 1963, Franco's era and you will see it. The main building is an apartment complex full of Catalan families. The adults only part refers to the small hotel at the reception site. We arrived in high season and the "service" at the beach bar was erratic. A beer turns into a lemon beer without warning, staff can't explain the menu in English and a paper napkin? Sorry, no have Up to the famed restaurant. Sorry, fully booked for the week. Only lunch available. When you order a Eur 50 steak they ditch it at your table and forget to bring plates. The breakfast is every day the same with a limited selection. My advise: book the restaurant well up front and enjoy the magic of the place. For the rest don't bother.
