Hi Inn (Beijing Dongsi Metro Station)

Room charge is reasonable. Location is quite good. Room is kind of clean. Bed is a little bit solid but quite comfortable. Bathroom is small but no problem. Room is also small but no problem. Hotel looks a bit old but no problem. Front clerks are not bad. Baggage storage service is very nice. We can also buy some food from the front desk.

The staff was lovely and the best I ever had in a hotel. But the hotel it’s too old, the corridors are creepy and filled with dirty and mold.

We didn’t love our stay at Hi Inn. The beds were so hard we couldn’t sleep, the cleanliness of the hotel was lacking and our toilet cistern leaked. The hotel also has no inviting entrance and the room smelt a bit damp. Nonetheless the staff were friendly and we could communicate with google translate.

The hotel staff provide good service and are very nice. The hotel is comfortable and suitable for travelers.

Unfortunately, the room is a lot worse than we expected based on the positive reviews. The hotel really needs a complete renovation. During our stay we continually had a smoke smell in our room. But the sigaret smell is actually within the whole hotel and can be smelled directly when entering the hotel. When entering the floor of our room for the first time, we were shocked by the state of the hallway. The bed is also really hard and not up to western standards. The advantage of the hotel is the location, as it is near the Dongsi station and close to some major attractions. For this budget, it is hard to find a hotel in this touristy part of the city. But we really don’t understand the high rating on Trip.

The place is well located, it’s 15 minutes walking from Wangfujing. The staff is very friendly and always helped you. The only thing, the building is really old, and you can see that in the room
