The room is so small even for a couples traveller. Space is just enough to open 1 luggage. Toilet and shower are side to side which each other, makes it unhygienic and only 1 person can use at a time.

Easy check in, friendly staff. Assisted me to collect my parcels b4 I arrive.
Advantages:
1.walking distance to national museum, the forbidden city, Tian An Men, and subway station(line 2&8. easy access to further attractions (eg: Yong He Gong, Temple of Heaven).
2. Toiletries provided in the lobby and room
3. There’s actually window in the room but facing to the wall
4. Beds are clean and comfy but the floor and bathroom could be a lil dusty, still acceptable
Disadvantages:
1. Not very soundproof(especially when other rooms wake up at 4am to see the flag raising ceremony).
2. Booked family room but not very spacious after opened up all the luggages.

You get what you pay for I guess. The location is great and despite the language barrier the hotel staff helped us book through WeChat when we didn’t have a Chinese number.
The bathroom we had, had floor tiling coming up and definitely needed a clean. The wifi and reception was shocking so be sure to do as much of your booking beforehand.

The little hotel is ideally located within walking distance to the DaShiLan. Room is a bit small but good enough for me as a solo traveler. Many restaurants and shops around the hotel. Few minutes walk from Metro QianMen station and ZhuShiKou station.

Excellent location with great links to metro. Overall relatively clean room, but hair in the shower drain was a downfall. Amenities provided but no hand towel in the bathroom. Some mornings water was not replaced in the room and had to ask front desk. Upon check in, front desk made us fill in the police report without any assistance, which was another upset we had after a long travel day.

The overall room facilities are sufficient for travel. The hotel is in a good location. If you take your children there, there are all kinds of food outside. Walking forward is the front gate, very close to Tiananmen Square, and it is very convenient to watch the flag-raising ceremony at the No. 7 security checkpoint. The only problem is that the room is not well soundproofed. Fortunately, I slept soundly at night after being exhausted during the day. Other things are good.
