At Xizhimen station. Near HIgh speed railway station around 500 m (Beijingbei) . You have to request nom smoking room. The staff will arrange for you . No breakfast but there a shopping mall with restaurant around hotel.

Pros:
- Unbeatable location
- Good service
- Great breakfast
- Clean
Cons:
- Doors are made of paper. Bad sound proofing. Guests talk loudly in the hallway and disturb my sleep
- Poor lighting design and old/bad interior design and finishes
- Towels are not cotton, but a strange polyester mix material that feels unpleasantly cold to the touch
- Bed and pillows are mid (it's okay, not great)

Location is a 6 min walk from the station.
Staff is very kind and helpful
Rooms are outdated and we happen to have a smoking smelling room :-(

Wonderful! Only a couple of minutes from the Railway station, which makes day trips to remote locations with the train a worry free activity, the hotel and room were clean and the people were very helpful and positive, even through the language barrier.
The only things I would add to make it better would be a small fridge in the room to keep the delicious food fresh, a better/repaired shower head, because the current one was leaking horribly and more toilet paper, because you never know when you need it.
