I was very disappointed with my stay at the AC Marriott Belfast. For the price I paid, I expected far better service and a warmer, more respectful experience.
The room itself was fine, though I was surprised to find no complimentary water bottles provided. Check-in took an unnecessarily long time, with no explanation why, and the reception staff came across as abrupt and disengaged—barely making eye contact. The location is a bit of a walk from the city's activities. The one bright spot was a genuinely lovely young employee who delivered my room service the first night of my stay; he showed more professionalism friendliness than most of the staff I encountered.
Unfortunately, there’s an older man with an English accent working at night in the bar area who was extremely rude—frankly enough to put anyone off staying here. Breakfast was also severely underwhelming.
This hotel needs to make serious changes in terms of customer service and guest experience. I would not stay here again.
