Dunes Motel - Bend

Great location and great remodel. Yet staff was indifferent and inpatient. No any amenity

You can tell they made efforts to update the building, but unfortunately the floors are in a sorry state. Creaking in a precarious manner.

Wasn’t expecting much, but this place really exceeded my expectations! Especially for the price point, definitely best bang for the buck! (Note: They were working on some sidings between 9am-6pm, but I arrived after 6 and left before 9 the next day, so can’t say anything about noise from construction – and perhaps they lower the price to compensate for this situation). Location is right on a busy street so occasional noise from the street can be heard, but nothing too loud that would bother my sleep between 11-8, and my room was ground floor right next to the stairs, some organic noise from people walking the stairs and room above. Room smells good and very clean, seems like the room has been renovated recently. There’s little imperfections here and there if one really want to look but otherwise room is perfect for what I need. Parking right in front of rooms, so convenient for loading/unloading luggages. And it’s Bend, I don’t feel unsafe at all even though the door face right to the street and parking lot.

I normally don’t do motels, but this place I was pleasantly surprised! The motel is very centrally located, it’s updated, very clean, and not weird smells. The bed was very comfy. The only thing I would dock would probably be the showerhead, it was very low, and felt like a pressure washer, but at least the water was hot and had good pressure. I would definitely stay here again!

The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The deadbolt on the door wouldn't work and the door didn't latch shut unless you slammed it. I was a little concerned that the sheets, while appearing to be clean, looked a bit dingy, for lack of a better word. Overall, for the price, it's a good deal.

Location, decor, amenities, and parking all excellent, particularly in light of value, even for the off-season.

I believe The Dunes Motel is the very best value in Bend, Oregon! They rates are excellent and the rooms are extremely nice for the money. They have been remodeled and provide a nice TV, microwave , refrigerator, great WiFi, eco-friendly soaps, shampooand luxurious towels! The beds are very comfortable! I cannot find one item to complain about! There is a nice Black Bear restaurant across the street and a great seafood restaurant, Rosacks, just a couple of blocks south of here. The Dunes Motel's central location is perfect for medical visits to St. Charles facilities or local shopping! The owners are super nice too!

They remodeled hotel room. It looked very nice, it was very clean, all fixtures were new. Bed was comfortable and heater worked really good we enjoyed our stay there.

The staff here was amazing. Lovely rooms, perfect walking distance from diners and small little shops. 10/10 will be staying here again
