Taplow House Hotel & Spa

This Spa hotel was amazingly wonderful. Location: 20mins walk from Taplow station, driving will be much more convenient but walking also works, it’s quiet and peaceful along the way. Building: was super beautiful with a huge yard, love the decorations. Facilities: went for Spa but also surprised by the brand new elegant sauna room, so superior!! Super clean. Service: very friendly, went there on Tuesday night and it was very quiet, all staff were friendly. Had an amazing night there with friend, will definitely come back!!

Nice location near to where we needed to be. Service could be better, reception unmanned sometimes to have to look around for check in etc which took a while. Breakfast was nice and that service was great.

Hotel is great had no complaints. Even better was the service, specifically Hannah who greeted me at reception and helped me out through my stay. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay near Maidenhead for business or holiday purposes.

Start with the hotel itself. Beautiful hotel set in a great location. The staff around the hotel were really friendly and showed us round. The treatments we received were also great. Now for the bad points which unfortunately outweigh the positives heavily. First of all is the lack of spa, there is literally 1 large hot tub and a sauna, luckily we went in a quiet February. Now for the major part. The restaurant is the hotels biggest downfall. I’m not sure if they are training staff but even the manager couldn’t get it right and there were only 7 couples sat in there. We had to ask for menus and water to the table. Sat there for 25 minutes and wanted to take our food order without initial drinks. Every starter that came out was sent to the wrong table. I paid for three course meal in my package and at the end was left with a bill of £80 from my meal. Wasn’t explained to me some dishes are extra. Overall the spa is not worth £500 I spent for a 1 night stay. Came away feeling disappointed

I always have such a lovely time at Taplow House and Spa. All the staff here are so lovely and the both the facilities and treatments at the spa are brilliant! A special thank you to Bay (especially for my hot chocolates :)) and Kiki who are always so welcoming and kind!
