The Circus Hostel

It was a shame there was no kitchen. Free luggage storage is available before check-in. The shower room is outside the actual room. The common areas were a bit cramped.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights. The breakfast was very inadequate. Also, for the first time ever, I saw here that we only had one right to a tea or coffee 😨 The toilet and bathroom were insufficient. There was no shower gel or shampoo in the bathrooms. If you want towels, you have to pay for them. I made the reservation through Trip.com and paid with my credit card. When I was about to check into the hotel, the receptionist said that payment hadn't been made. I showed them the payment receipt. They said, "I don't know." Then they asked for my credit card details. They said, "I'm just going to write it down, not put it on the computer." They assured me, "Your card won't be charged." But the next day, they tried to charge my card 160 euros. Then I went to the reception and asked, "Why did you try to charge my card? Didn't Trip.com make the payment?" They said it had been paid. I asked, "Why are you trying to charge my card again?" They replied, "Oh, sorry, it must have been a mistake." Is that something that can just happen by mistake? I asked them to delete my card details from the system. I hope they have deleted them. I'm afraid they might try to charge my card again. I think I'll block my card and get a new one. All the staff were very rude. I definitely do not recommend it.
