"Honestly, one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I've had in a long time. I don't remember exactly how many stars this hotel has, but I normally don't book anything below 4 or 5 stars. Based on the actual experience, this felt much closer to a 3-star property. The interior is strange and looks very cheap. The rooms are reasonably large, but everything feels old, worn out and has an unpleasant smell. The hotel is clearly overdue for a full renovation. Nothing feels fresh or well maintained. The sink was draining so slowly that it was almost impossible to use. While the room wasn't dirty, everything looked tired, outdated and heavily used. There was no drinking water in the room. These days it's pretty much standard to provide at least a couple of bottles of water. If the tap water is safe to drink, the hotel could at least inform guests about it. The minibar was completely empty as well. I called and requested a toothbrush and toothpaste. After waiting for about 30 minutes, I eventually went down to reception and got them myself. The funny part is that the requested items were finally delivered only after I had already collected them myself and was getting ready to leave the room. Overall, a very disappointing stay. Large room sizes alone cannot compensate for outdated facilities, poor maintenance and lack of basic service standards."

They offered 10% refund which is not worth of money to just stay without A.C in this scorching heat in Europe. I am still waiting for their reply further which is almost 4 days now. Moreover, they have whirlpool bath and sauna/steam which was also not working for couple of days during my stay and again they offered some refund on this facilities not available. How can hotel expect guest to accommodate themselves without basic necessities and facilities in hotel? why one choose a hotel? If this hotel can not provide adequate services to guest, than they should shut themself off."

"The location is very good, even on foot you're close to some main attractions. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and we appreciated the free water, tea, and coffee in the lobby. Our room had two single beds and, although not mentioned beforehand, we were pleased to find that it included a private bathroom. Towels were also provided. However, the bathroom had no shower gel or soap at all. The room was meant to have underfloor heating, but we were cold for two nights due to a draught from the balcony door; only the last night was warm, and there was no thermostat to adjust the temperature. The beds creaked loudly with even the smallest movement. Finally, entering the room with the key card was surprisingly difficult — sometimes it took 2–4 minutes for the door to read the card, even after replacing it."

"The room and bathroom were clean. We borrowed a spoon and fork at the front desk, and the staff were nice. The room has air conditioning, but no refrigerator, so be aware of this if you are planning to buy food or late-night snacks and store them in your room. The hotel provides an all-in-one body wash, towels, and a hairdryer. However, you will need to bring your own toothbrush, facial cleanser, and any other personal items you may need. The location was close to the station, making it convenient for sightseeing, and since the station area itself isn't sketchy, it was a comfortable stay. The view from the hotel was nice, and a flea market was held along the way to the station on weekends. The hotel reception offers discount and benefit cards, so I highly recommend it as an affordable place to stay when visiting Berlin."
