"When I arrived to hotel room, AC was not working in the summer heat of 38-40C and when I complaint about it nobody cared to reply. After couple of days of suffering without air condition, I learnt other guests rooms A.C also not working but hotel support lied about it and told me hotel is fully booked and they can't shift me to another room , infact A.C was non functioning since a month in this terrible hotel. They offered 10% refund which is not worth of money to just stay without A.C in this scorching heat in Europe. I am still waiting for their reply further which is almost 4 days now. Moreover, they have whirlpool bath and sauna/steam which was also not working for couple of days during my stay and again they offered some refund on this facilities not available. How can hotel expect guest to accommodate themselves without basic necessities and facilities in hotel? why one choose a hotel? If this hotel can not provide adequate services to guest, than they should shut themself off."

"Hotel is 10 min walk from Zoologischer Garten and Kudamm. The building and the interiors could use some renovation, but I don't mind these details, so I was fine with those. My room was really small, yet I was travelling alone, so it did not make much of a difference for me. Important things are, I had clean sheets and towels, hot water, pretty good breakfast, decent Internet connection for work. Also in the plus side, there is air conditioning in the room, which is not very common in Berlin. As a side note, when I asked the front desk if they could pick up my Amazon delivery, the very friendly receptionist told me that they were not accepting deliveries anymore, so I had to use the Amazon lockers in the next street (which totally worked fine by the way, just remember this in case you need to order anything). "

"The location is very good, even on foot you're close to some main attractions. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and we appreciated the free water, tea, and coffee in the lobby. Our room had two single beds and, although not mentioned beforehand, we were pleased to find that it included a private bathroom. Towels were also provided. However, the bathroom had no shower gel or soap at all. The room was meant to have underfloor heating, but we were cold for two nights due to a draught from the balcony door; only the last night was warm, and there was no thermostat to adjust the temperature. The beds creaked loudly with even the smallest movement. Finally, entering the room with the key card was surprisingly difficult — sometimes it took 2–4 minutes for the door to read the card, even after replacing it."

"The room and bathroom were clean. We borrowed a spoon and fork at the front desk, and the staff were nice. The room has air conditioning, but no refrigerator, so be aware of this if you are planning to buy food or late-night snacks and store them in your room. The hotel provides an all-in-one body wash, towels, and a hairdryer. However, you will need to bring your own toothbrush, facial cleanser, and any other personal items you may need. The location was close to the station, making it convenient for sightseeing, and since the station area itself isn't sketchy, it was a comfortable stay. The view from the hotel was nice, and a flea market was held along the way to the station on weekends. The hotel reception offers discount and benefit cards, so I highly recommend it as an affordable place to stay when visiting Berlin."
