Simple basic Hotel at the ocean front. We were allowed directly to the room and finished the registration at our comfort in the room. We were the only guests for the first night. We were offered two double bed rooms instead of one bedroom, with a big balcony facing the ocean with magnificent views especially for the sunset. It was only the receptionist who could understand and speak very good English and her father could speak very good Arabic . Other housekeeping staff were trying to help as much as they can but the language barrier was always a problem. Also, regular daily cleaning and refill of water, coffee and changing towels needs reminders. It seems they are not used for regular standards of hotel services. There were two choices of breakfast, either international or local. But we had a huge blend of both and in very amounts, both boiled eggs and omelets, cheeses, beans, freshly baked bread, fresh fruits, jams and coffee. We were also offered green large coconut freshly retrieved from their garden . The receptionist was very caring and strives to straighten any problem. She offered to help in buying fresh fish and prawns from the nearby fish market and to get cooked for us the way we liked. It ended up very cheap compared to any other restaurant. WiFi was very good and fast. Mosquitoes were of very large sizes but we were ready with Mosquitoes repellent. If you take care to close doors before dark and keep the Piff Paff plugged in, there is no problem. I heard there was some change of ownership or administration to a Chinese firm and there are efforts to make it back in order. It had acquired another name which is Pink land which I didn't find online .
