A welcome drink along with complementary drinks were offered, making the stay special.

Very good food, friendly staff and an easy walk (less than 10 minutes) from the Bilbao-Abando train station. Very close to many great restaurants, Plaza Nueva, and about a 20 minute walk to the Guggenheim. Fantastic hotel.

Very friendly, helpful reception team. Housekeeping team are brilliant, room was spotless. Lovely building. Convenient location. Comfy bed, excellent shower. Can’t fault it!

Lovely stay in Bilbao
This was a well-located, modern, and architecturally interesting hotel. We loved our very comfortable room and the breakfasts were also excellent.

Breakfast service
We had very poor service at breakfast on our second day. On arrival, some tables were free but not cleaned. We were met by one of the wait staff, who said he would clean a table and then disappeared for over 15 mins. Despite other staff passing by, we were ignored before a young lady staff member helped us out. The two others seemed to be running around like headless chickens but accomplishing very little. We also noticed other guests with issues related to their orders. Lastly, for a Michelin star restaurant, the food offering is sub standard and tasteless

The front desk folks are the magic. Keli noticed we were still waiting on our uber and offered to get us a taxi. Thank God she did as the Uber driver never showed up and we just made our connecting flight.

Beautiful room, clean and with very good amenities. The staff was better than excellent. Shout out to Goisalde, Sarai and Anders. Truly helpful; thank you. Looking forward to return to Bilbao and will stay at the Tayko.
