The staff were really friendly, the room itself wasn't very clean and the sink was leaking, toilet kept gurgling throughout the night and obviously can't be help but the location meant the night was very noisy.

The whole stay was very good. We had no issues at all. Any problem we had was with the orange juice station and that was sorted straight away by Bert who even bright fresh orange juice to the table for us as well! Would stay here again if we are ever in the area again

Great hotel Lovely smell clean and quiet with access to all areas. Fabulous staff (Bert) great breakfast. Comfy beds. Lovely walk to the arena. Windows that open. Great coffee in room and with breakfast. Would definitely book again if we go to another concert.

Hotel is clean and tidy. Overall my stay was lovely. But have to comment on the staff. Extremely helpful going above and beyond to accomodate. I lost my charger and asked for directions to shop to buy one. The lovely lady at the desk lent me hers. Also helped me with some luggage that got dropped off for me. Lovely staff

Just what I would expect from a travel lodge. Cheap and cheerful. Room was dirty - stains on the floor, mould around the window sill, stains up the back of the door in the bathroom. Apart from that it was close to city centre and quiet. Ok for 1 night

I’ve stayed at many hotels in my time, dear reader, but let me tell you, the stellar, nay impeccable service, I received from Bert and Shanaz - legendary pair at the spotless Travelodge, Charlotte Street, Birmingham - surpassed each and every interaction I’ve had at other hotels with other staff. I simply will feel I am receiving second rate service going forward, when I inevitably need to stay at other, more convenient to my location hotels, in future. Huge thanks to this pair of hospitality legends. If either of you are ever near Staines-upon-Thames in future, please do drop in for a cuppa, as discussed (white, THREE sugars! lol). The stay was perfect room was clean, check in was easy, bed was comfy,.. The staff are lovely.. breakfast was perfect and the Bert very friendly and welcoming, also made sure we got everything we needed. Definitely will be staying here again.

Staff were on hand to help everytime I needed, was served by Neil in the bar who helped with everything I needed and was very friendly and genuine. Bedroom has all the essentials that you need in a hotel and it’s not far from the train station which made it ideal to get to
