Hotel Ozana

Very poor service, definitely not a 4 star hotel. Reception decent, yet light-years lower than expected. The room was ok, but not fantastic. The shower was a 1 star shower... The food quality was ok, but they only had about 30% from waht was written in the menu. Very poor breakfast and coffee first after 8 minutes waiting after the service lady took some coffee for the team. Poor choices, empty bowls...

We expected more from the 4 star hotel. Our room was comfortable and well cleaned when we arrived. We decided to eat at our hotel's restaurant, but the experience was uncomfortable. The arrogant butler made us feel unwelcome. During our five-day stay, we luckily found other restaurants in Bistrita, where we were served kindly. The hotel receptionists did their job well. They greeted and were friendly and helpful. Our second big surprise was the cleaning. We came on Sunday, there was a cleaner in our room on Monday, but not after that. On Thursday, I went to the reception to ask for more toilet paper, which was arranged quickly, but even the only trash, in our apartment's deluxe suite, was not emptied. Should I have put a note on the door of our room "please clean our room", in a four star hotel? Odotimme enemmän neljän tähän hotellilta. Huoneemme oli mukava ja hyvin siivottu, kun saavuimme. Päätimme syödä hotellimme ravintolassa, mutta kokemus oli epämukava. Ylimielinen hovimestari sai meidät tuntemaan itsemmme ei-toivotuksi. Viiden vuorokauden vierailumme aikana löysimme onneksi Bistritasta muita ravintoloita, joissa meitä palveltiin ystävällisesti. Hotellin vastaanottovirkailijat tekivät oman työnsä hyvin. He tervehtivät ja olivat ystävällisiä ja auttavaisia. Toinen iso hämmästyksen aiheemme oli siivous. Tulimme sunnuntaina, maanantaina huoneessamme kävi siivooja, mutta sen jälkeen ei. Torstaina kävin vastaanotossa pyytämässä lisää wc-paperia, joka järjestyi pikaisesti, mutta edes huoneistomme deluxe suite ainoaa roskakoria ei käyty tyhjentämässä. Olisiko minun pitänyt laittaa huoneemme oveen lappu ”pyydän, siivotkaa huoneemme”, neljän tähden hotellissa?

The hotel is very old, the towels were like sandpaper, does not look clean. I travel a lot among Rumania for more than 4 years and this is probably the worst experience I ever had. Better look a different option in this city!

Beautiful and clean hotel. Very close to everything. Staff was very friendly.
