I would like to thank Steve for being a wonderful host during my stay at The Shining Diamond. Due to an early evening commitment, I was unable to arrive in the normal hours to check guests in but he was happy for me to arrive late and even left a football match he was watching to let me in.
The room was really good with a comfy bed and excellent shower. Breakfast was also really good with most of the ingredients from a local butcher. Lovely to have it cooked fresh as well.
It can be so hard to find a decent bed and breakfast in Blackpool but this is one of the best and will be the first one I check out on my next visit.

Brilliant b and b, hosts dawn and steve couldnt do enough to help and nothing was a problem. They were friendly and really good with my 4 year old son too. Rooms were clean, warm, comfy beds, plenty tea and coffee in room to use too. The breakfast was perfect! Me and my son will def be back soon to stay again !

Stayed here for a couple of nights recently with my 3 Children. I really liked the way Dawn took to my son recognising his additional needs and helping me with him when I checked out. A lovely couple I felt like I new Dawn a long time she made us feel so relaxed and very down to earth. Steve Friendly and funny. he was helpful at check in and helped me up to my room with my luggage. Absolutely lovely couple very friendly clean room and dining area breakfast spot on and we'll the kids didn't want to come home! Location ideal for small children people who struggle with walking to far. perfect few nights thank you both to making us feel welcome. we will be back xxxx

They say you get what you pay for but here you get more, it's an excellent place to stay the owner is brilliant and I highly recommend. The rooms are great and breakfast is faultless.This is now our go to place when we visit Blackpool

Room bathroom bed clean and Very comfortable. Tea and coffee and tv provided Breakfast was cooked exactly as I wanted it. Nothing was too much trouble for dawn and Steve both were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Had a laugh with them.the friendliest hosts. Can’t wait to go back would highly recommend. Lovely welcoming hosts, room was perfect for what we needed for our 1 night stay for a family of 3 including WiFi, TV, complimentary tea and coffee and a lovely hot shower. Seafront and towwn centre can both be walked to within 5 minutes which Wass perfect for us. Plenty of carparks near by at good prices, we used South King car park on Hornby Rd which was on the next street a fews mins walk away. We really enjoyed our stay especially seeing the illuminations and the Christmas fayre, will definitely visit again next year.

We’ve been a few times now to the shining diamond, once again a lovely break , lovely clean room , tea n coffee in rooms, telly with all channels on , lovely clean breakfast, very central 5 minutes from all the shops, tower n sea front, club at the end of the room very friendly people and they serve food on an evening which is lovely, Steve n dawn a lovely couple more like friends now, I’ll be back for the lights in September, cya soon, Tracy 😊😊
