Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Weser und in Fußgängerentfernung zum historischen Zentrum des Städtchens. Vor dem Hotel sind gratis Parkplätze - lassen Sie den Wagen da stehen und erkunden Sie zu Fuss. Das Hotel wurde im Winter 22/23 renoviert und ist jetzt in einem sehr erfreulichen Zustand. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bieten alles was man für eine angenehme Übernachtung so braucht. Es ist vor Allem sauber und alle technischen Dinge wie Beleuchtung, sanitäre Anlagen und Internet sind perfekt. Am Morgen erfreut ein kleines Frühstücksbuffet mit Allem was man sich als Reisender wünscht. Das Personal ist freundlich , wenn auch auf ein Mindes**aß begrenzt.So ist die Rezeption nur bis 19:00 besetzt und danach erhält man Eingang über einen Zahlencode. Eventuelle Getränkewüsche kann man sich erfüllen, in dem man sich aus einen Kühlschrank selber bedient. Ich kann dieses kleine Hotel empfehlen.

Auf unser Tour Weser-Radweg sollte es auch Bodenwerder sein. Das Hotelangebot scheint hier klein zu sein und die Lage des Goldenen Anker ist top! Aber: das Haus ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen! Teppichboden wurde punktuell durch Ausstanzungen ausgebessert. Die Türschlösser sind sehr verschlissen, der Schlüssel greift kaum. Die Kopfkissen sind sehr oldscool einfache Federkissen. Das Bad ist einfach sehr alt und die Dusche extrem niedrig. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und auch die Bedienung war sehr nett ! Aber tatsächlich würden wir dieses Hotel auf einer erneuten Tour meiden.
