Me and my wife had an absolutely fantastic time at La Quinta, we upgraded to a deluxe room which was very comfortable, great bathroom and plenty of space, the buffet restaurant was excellent, plenty of choice and very tasty, the pool bar was a very nice place to sit wether you're by the pool or down the decking next to the sea, the staff were absolutely fantastic including the barmen Ibrohim and Ramazan. A 15 minute walk or a £2 taxi ride will get you to the marina wheres there's 100's bars and restaurants. We would 100% come back to this hotel in the future.

The hotel was far away from the marina area, only way out was taxi otherwise need to walk uphill. The rooms were very average with a lot of insects in and outside the hotel rooms. Very very poor wifi and not suitable for old people as for the rooms need to walk on the stairs. The hotel common areas smelled very good.

After so long in Turkey, this is the worst experience. There is no water in the room. Not only are takeaways not allowed, but you are also not allowed to bring your own water!! You are required to buy it at the hotel bar (consume it here). The breakfast is very poor, with little food, just bread, olives, etc. The service is very poor. In a tourist city, the front desk can't speak English well. You can't see the sunset because it is blocked by the mountains. I don't recommend it at all, negative points.

The location of the hotel is very good, 15 minutes from the center. within walking distance. It has its own beach. The staff is really very caring and polite. The food was also good. I was very pleased 😍

I had read the reviews and had very low expectations. I must say our room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. However, the carpet was very badly stained and the cleaning was fantastic. It was very busy and breakfast and dinner time it could be difficult to find a free table. There were ample choices for breakfast but most of the food was only lukewarm. Dinner was included in our package and after the first dinner we chose to go out of the hotel and pay for our meals. The hotel is quite remote and isn’t a good choice if you want to see the sites of Istanbul and it isn’t close to the airport either. Fortunately there is a small shopping centre with several restaurants and a great supermarket about 500 metres to the right of the hotel.

Your quality of holiday at La Quinta will depend on which half of the hotel your room is located. The main building at the rear of the hotel from the reception has sea facing views but more importantly these rooms are served by lifts to all floors. This building also includes the very nice 3rd floor restaurant and the pool area on the lower level. If, like us your room is behind the main building then you will not have any lifts to use and may, like us again, have to climb up 73 steep steps to your room which is no fun if your over 70 years old and please don't think that anyone on reception will help because we tried but with no joy. I would also highly recommend that you book a room with a sea view rather than a garden view as some of the outside spaces for the garden view rooms are truly atrocious. With a few exceptions the staff are a miserable and unhelpful bunch, especially in reception. There is no information on things to do or even on the excellent shuttle ferry to the main town. Fortunately we had a nice lady who looked after our room with clean towels and bottled water every day and the restaurant staff were quite helpful at breakfast. Also a special mention to the sunbed and umbrella team around the pool who were very helpful. The pool area had plenty of comfortable sunbeds so no worries there but the pool wasn't too warm. Also there is NO beach, just steps down into the sea. We were on bed and breakfast basis but we also had a couple of lunches and all the food was very good. Drinks are more expensive but this was expected. There are no bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel but thankfully the very wonderful small ferries run from the pool area to downtown Bodrum very frequently. So, some good points and some very bad .

Nice little hotel. Staff lovely and helpful. Room not as expected, supposed to have had a deluxe garden view, well don't bother nothing deluxe about looking at a few banana palms and a large water feature with building rubble on one side and a few shrubs. Room was okay but attention to detail needed, especially in the bathroom. Sealing ***** coming away from the shower screen. Shower rail hanging off and the sealant on the bottom of the shower tray needs taking off and resealing.. Also, bed needs either thin duvet or extra blanket, either got vvery cold with a/c on, really warm if turned off. Ask we were b&b food and drink were extortionate. An ice cream £10 not good.

Arrived at the hotel early hours of the morning was taken to our room that absolutely stank of stale cigarettes. After a few hours sleep I went to reception and asked to move rooms, they did and was taken to a bigger room with air freshener just sprayed to try and mask the equally as strong stale smoke. The air conditioning unit didn’t work, called to reception no one speaks English at all she said she didn’t understand and hung up. I went down to reception where I was told someone would come and fix it, after going out for hours I came back and it still hadn’t been fixed. Contacted love holidays to get some help absolutely rubbish didn’t help at all. Finally after contacting the tour rep for help it eventually got sorted. Paid for bed and breakfast went to have some food, not fresh, poor choice and wasn’t very nice. On arrival had a man who worked there demanding payment even though I paid for this. I haven’t returned for breakfast just went to a local supermarket for food. The pool is nice but not a beach as described just steps down into the sea, terrible WiFi, terrible service and rude staff. It stated it was a 4* hotel a 2* rating would be a generous mark for this subpar hotel. I would not recommend or return to this hotel.

The hotel has a beautiful view of the sea with kind and helpful staff especially in resturant and pool bar…comfortable and clean rooms, acceptable food, but the reception staff were amateurs and inexperienced when I asked them why the hotel hall was dark and the lights were not on. they laughed and said mockingly. , we will make it clear to you this means that you are not important to us as a guest or customer! This answer made me angry and sad!

1. Perfect location (close to the historical city center) - you can use water taxi for 60 TRY peer person, and in 10 minutes you would be nearby the Castle (traffic interval is about 15 minutes). 2. Perfect view from the restaurant at the 3rd floor of the Hotel and from Deluxe rooms at main building. 3. No loud music and concert at the hotel territory (but other hotels, which are located at the same bay, may cause inconvenience at evenings and nights because of loud music). 4. If you decided to stay here, book Deluxe rooms in main building. First of all, these rooms are much more comfortable than Superior rooms in second building. All rooms on main building were renovated after acquisition of these hotel by La Quinta. If you book Superior or Club room, some furniture in the room would be old and worn out. Second, if you stay at superior room, you may hear loud music from Salmakis hotel up to the morning (state regulations, which prohibit listening to loud music after 12 pm do not apply to Bardakchi Bay). 5. Hotel has the pool and two piers with sun loungers. There were no any problems to find any free loungers at any time of the day even when the hotel was full of guests. 6. The lunch and dinner is ok. Local fish (sea ​​bass dorado) was featured at dinner every evening. For breakfast you can order an omelette.

Good night! I have reservation at La Quinta hotel Bodrum (Superior Room #515) and I have the problem with the loud music at night, which is being played at Salmakis and Prive hotels (which are located nearby in the same bay) up to 4 am in the morning. Could you solve this problem? I haven't slept the last two nights because of the music. I think it's the largest problem of your hotel, because people, who book rooms at the hotel, book it for relax, not for night parties... The manager at the reception desk didn't even tried to solve my problem - he told there are no rooms at the main building and he can't do anything... How can you solve that problem? Could you provide me a room at the main building and contact to Salmakis and Prive hotels to reduce the music level at nights?

Liked · location, beach, staff Disliked · When we arrived at midnight first night, after checking in, we tried to go to bed. I found a crawling bug in bed that looked like a bed bug ( from internet pictures ). I called the reception and they would not change my room. They sent a guy with a broom ? I asked him what he wanted to do with the broom and he had no answer. I asked him to change all the sheets and pillows and by 2.30 am we went back to bed. After a short sleep, I was awakened by heat ( 90 F ) and sweat and realized the AC was broken. In the morning, when I called for the AC , we had to wait for the tech to tell us that the system is broken, but that took an additional 2 hours of waiting to change our room.( somehow they had rooms 6 hours later ) The hotel has all the facilities but the upper management is penny-wise. They DO NOT turn on the lights nor the AC in common areas . The minute you come out of your room you start sweating, including in the elevator. On our last day, I asked them to give me a courtesy late check out , since my plane was at 8 pm at night, and they would not give it to me. After arguing and asking them to reconsider due to our miserable first night, the manager called me after an hour and let me have 2 hour checkout along with some credit on my incidentals. The location of the hotel and its beach is wonderful. The staff is nice and really trying to please. Upper management needs to change.

Staff fantastic, rooms comfortable and clean, now the down sides, just a top blanket on bed, only mattress sheet, no top sheet, hot water intermittent, no beach, no shallow end in pool, we stayed all inclusive, breakfast pretty standard, lunch at pool bar ok, lunch and evening meals in main restaurant awful, no real choice, most looked like prison slop. Would I stay at again, sadly not although the staff made it.

Everything was perfectly well organized Front desk staff was polite and helpful Morning breakfast well organized and staff was polite, especially Seher and Gansu Pool area was clean and accessible and the staff was always ready to help in everything/ special thanks to Ipek and Mehmet and Hussein I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and relatives
