Myself and my husband stayed at this hotel for 10 nights to celebrate our honeymoon. We arrived quite late in the evening but managed to get some food from the late evening buffet. Food was extremely repetitive every day, a lot of fish, meatballs and chicken and not a lot of variety in the main restaurant. The pasta corner was incredible, you could choose toppings and sauces and it was cooked for you then and there, however, there was one night where it was extremely busy and mine and another guests plate were mixed up so when the cooked pasta was plated up, I had pasta and toppings left from the other persons plate. The main restaurant also became extremely busy very quickly, we had an intake of guests on day 4 of our holiday so we saw it go from a quiet season to start of holiday peak. There were several times we were not served drinks at all by the servers, and even when we tried to get their attention we would be ignored. I would either recommend the hotel to have somebody to seat guests upon arrival in the restaurant, and take their drinks order before they go to get food OR have a self-service area for more drinks (such as fizzy drinks) as only hot drinks or juices are available to self-serve, and large bottles of water and wine in the fridges (but often no glasses available). The food at the takeaway snack bar and pizza house was incredible, and they listened particularly well to any requests we made due to allergies. The food at the wave bar was good, my requests for food allergies were not responded as well in this restaurant as the other two snack areas. There were often quite long delays once the influx of guests arrived for the takeaway food, nothing on the gentleman who was on the counter at all, but would dread to think of the queue time during an even busier time. The lady who was on the ice-cream stand was extremely friendly and approachable. There are several bars in the hotel with an extensive list of cocktails and drinks available. We were extremely confused with the timings of these bars as the lemon bar was advertised as 4pm-7am, and then for our last two nights it was shut at 11:50pm with no reason as to why. The bar underneath the bridge only serves fizzy drinks or wine and beer so bear in mind if you’re wanting a different alcoholic drink or cocktail here. It was extremely useful to have fridges of water bottles available to access at any time every day around the hotel. The hotel is extremely clean and in every part you go to, you can always see somebody hard at work maintaining and cleaning the hotel. Whether this would be gardeners, pool cleaners, bar staff etc. We found at the start of our stay (when it was quieter) that if we were to leave our table in either the lobby or lemon bar, even just for a moment, it would be cleaned and ready for the next person. This was not repeated as much once it became busier. The toilet in the lobby was not up to the rest of the standards of the hotel and had an incredibly rancid s
