Tambuti Lodge

We loved Tambuti Lodge, we experienced exceptional hospitality, beautiful food and incredible scenery and wildlife.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Tambuti Lodge for two nights and had 4 total game drives. Unfortunately the weather the first two times was pretty cold and rainy. However, this didn't stop us from having a good time. The guides were fantastic and always put in a lot of effort for us to find animals (we saw rhino, giraffe, leopard,, wildabeast, kudu, impala, worthog, zebra and an elephant FARRR away). The lodge was very cute and clean and the food was fantastic. Very smoothly run! Would love to come back.

It’s hard to describe in words how incredible that experience was for me. Loads of animals, best guides, legendary service and vibe from the stuff and the accommodation together with the incredible food prepared by the best chefs is 6 star! I will come again one day. 🫶🏻

My husband and I came for our honeymoon. We had the most incredible experience and can’t fault it at all. It was a beautiful spacious room with a huge comfy bed. The food was amazing - everything we ate was fresh and so delicious. The staff were all so kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our honeymoon so special. We got to have a candle light private dinner which was so special. The game drives were amazing, each one so unique. Marin the guide was so knowledgeable and always happy to answer questions. Can’t recommend this place enough!

It was my first time in South Africa, I came for a business trip which I combined with a few days off to visit Johannesburg and its surroundings. Coming to Pilanesberg's park and staying in this fantastic Lodge was the highlight of my trip. The Tambuti Lodge is precious, beautiful, very private and the welcoming and dimensions make you feel at home. 5 rooms, like the BIG 5, beautiful, so well decorated and very comfortable. I had a huge room with a very large bed, fluffy pillows, with a large terrasse equiped and an outdoor shower :) It is all very private and you have your intimacy. Beautiful bathroom open in the room with a huge barthtub and an open shower. The bar, open to help yourself with any drink at anytime, the pool area...I was enchanted. At last but not least, the team, hostess Marcia was adorable, Martin our ranger, alert and caring, the chefs wonderful. I was surprised by the quality of the food, excellent, delicate and creative. Thank you so much for making these 2 days a lifetime memory.

The hotel is wonderful, and staff really makes the difference! They change our experience, transforming it perfect. Drive games, hotel room, kindness of the staff, everything really perfect. Special thanks to Martin and Nollu, who takes care of us in every detail. I absolutely recommend.

It is our home away from home - it is a magical place - staff make you feel at home straight away - service is EXCELLENT - food is absolutely amazing ...In our opinion this is the BEST lodge on the Black Rhino reserve - we will be back again very soon. Thank you ...

Everything was perfection. The most friendly, welcoming people we have ever met. Everything was smooth & professional from our first enquiry to saying goodbye ! Loved the game drives and our game ranger was extremely knowledgable and made the drives interesting and enjoyable. We just can’t wait to return.

A truly special and memorable experience - the lodge is beautiful (just as good as it looks in the photos) and the safari was a real "once in a lifetime" kind of experience. We saw a wide variety of animals on the four safaris we took during our stay, including all of the "big five" animals. When not out on safari, it was a pleasure just to hang out at the lodge - the food was superb (and plentiful!), the staff were extremely friendly and hospitable and it was very convenient to have all food and drink catered for us. The transfer to and from the airport was also very convenient. Really highly recommend Tambuti Lodge for those looking for an unforgettable safari experience in South Africa.
