In addition to bringing your boat you can also enjoy two kayaks and two paddleboards for those who wish to explore the calm morning or evening waters. There are 2 paddleboards, life vests, wonder noodles and water lounges as well as some water toys and beach towels available to use during your stay. There are lots a places here to relax and enjoy the lake - my favorite is the recliner on the covered dock! A love seat and chairs on the lower porch for sipping a beverage with friends. A set of lounge chairs on the dock for reading that neglected stack of magazines. The covered dock has a comfortable dining table, perfect for sharing a meal with family while enjoying the sunset. The kitchen, family room and full bath are located on the lower level. The kitchen is fully appointed with dishes, utensils, cookware and small appliances including a blender, coffee maker, toaster and crock pot. There are also some cooking basics such as common spices, flour, sugar, oil and coffee. A 36" Blackstone griddle is located on the downstairs patio, close to the kitchen. There are 3 bedrooms in the home, all are located upstairs as well as the living room, washer/dryer, kitchenette coffee bar and half bath. The main bedroom has a king sized bed and wardrobe closet with drawers. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and features an lighted umbrella art installation on the ceiling. Easily accessible from the house without stairs, using the deck ramp, stroll down a gently sloping sidewalk and splinter-free pier. We call this barefoot luxury! Everyone loves the gazebo's bathing suit-friendly, deep-seating lounge on a firm foundation (no waves) with much-needed shade, breezy fan, mini-fridge, and hands-down best 360° water views. The gazebo is the most comfortable spot to be near those in the lake without getting wet. On a quiet day you'll see fish jump, a heron swoop & screech, osprey dive for fish and geese, ducks and turtles swim by. On a busier lake day, it's super entertaining to watch other boaters pulling tubers, water skiers, and wake boarders doing tricks.From May-Oct many would argue that being in the lake is where it’s at! This home's prime location on a big cove is actually where many boats from all over the lake come to drop anchor and jump in, because there aren't the treacherous waves like on the main channel. The water around the dock is deep (15'+). You can swim or tread water, but most prefer sitting in a float, laying on the large water mat, holding a pool noodle or floating with a life jacket. There’s even shade to be found in the water if you position yourself near the gazebo.If you have a boat, you can tie it up to the dock and have it ready to go anytime during your stay. If you have a jet ski, the floating jet ski dock is for you. Sunbathe on the dock, hang your feet in, jump in the deep water, climb up either ladder, swim out to our floating platform, or over to the ramp, take out a kayak or the stand up paddle board, fish and have loads of fun in the lake. When you need a break, rest and have lunch or snacks in the overwater gazebo, until the lake calls you back again. This beautiful lake front home with a private pier, pier bar and large private dock is the perfect getaway for relaxation and everything that lakefront living has to offer! Enjoy this luxury property while making lasting memories with your family and friends at the lake. The home is ideal for a family or two small families with children. The property is tucked back into a quiet cove that is ideal for kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, swimming and relaxing on a float right off the dock. It is less than a minute boat ride from the main channel which provides quick and easy access to the open water, where you can enjoy waterskiing, wakeboarding, wake surfing, tubing and much more! Relax while having a drink over the water at the dock bar which is equipped with a refrigerator and bar stools. There are several boat rental companies nearby making it easy and convenient to rent a boat and/or jet skis for use during your stay. The dock has enough room to accommodate two boats as well as a couple of jet skis during your visit. In addition to the dock, this property has large stone steps into the lake that provide direct and easy access. Six adult kayaks, two youth kayaks, two paddleboards, as well as numerous floats are available for your use during your stay. Life jackets of all sizes are also provided for your convenience and safety. The property also has a very large stone firepit overlooking the lake with ample seating for enjoying the view of the lake and making smores and other goodies over a wood fire. The home also has a large deck with ample comfortable seating areas and a gas grill, as well as two screened porches offering picturesque views of the lake. The backyard is large and fenced in, making it ideal for playing outdoor games with the kids or relaxing in the hammock. Inside, enjoy a fully equipped kitchen that has everything that you need to prepare your meals, as well as a cozy living room with a gas fireplace to relax by. The property is situated in a quiet area, but less than five minutes from Publix, restaurants, and shopping. A pack and play and sheets are also available for your little ones. Great for entertaining.-3 guest rooms upstairs/queen beds-Walk out basement 1 queen bed( not a private bedroom), laundry room, ping pong table, full bathroom, opens out to patio and firepit area, fenced in backyard. That leads down to dock.New paved walk way down to dock.-Fully stocked kitchen ( starter kit 2 dish pods, 1 paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, small dish soap and 3 garbage bags. Please plan accordingly for your length trip. -Boat Rental, our families favorite thing to do while visiting the cabin.. getting out on the water! Enjoy the 24 foot Bennington Pontoon. Seasonal rates $499 per day includes insurance to operate. Mid April-Nov. varies on weather . The boat rental can be included with your home rental as an add on as well just let us know at booking how many days to add. Boat is conveniently located at the dock in the back yard. unlimited daily rental until dusk( note dock closes for gas daily at 5:00 and will need fueled up before returning to half tank. Lake Norman Marina is few min. from cove for gas. -Boat Rules .Please bring back with half tank of gas as it was when you took it out( send picture of fuel gage before and after) please we do not live in the area to re fuel this 300$ fine if not re fuel.. No beaching ruins prop ( send pictures before and after of prop).No pets unless discussed ahead of time claws damage seats.Life jackets must be worn it is the law in NC there are jackets provided but not any child size please bring if needed..No operating boat under the use of alcohol and no smoking on boat.Please return boat clean and tied up well with pictures provided. Do not sit on arm rests or doors..No rain checks or cancellations of any kind (even Due to weather).If any accessory switches are left on it will drain the battery... and a tech will have to come out and charge the battery you will be charged 220.00$ for this service. Please double check lights, radio, and any other switches are off at the return of your boat rental for the eve.-3 kayaks, vests all provided free for use please return to the rack upside down when finished. If lost or damaged they will be replaced at guests costs.
