Plus, the breakfast was healthy and well-balanced; even my super picky child absolutely loved it. Fantastic!

This is by far the best guesthouse I've ever stayed in! The owners are incredibly warm and thoughtful. The guesthouse itself is beautifully and uniquely decorated, with antique wooden carvings. After chatting with the owner, I learned he's a designer and designed the guesthouse himself. The breakfast, though simple-looking, was freshly handmade by the auntie every morning – so delicious and much better than those pre-made options! The room and bedding were spotless, and the location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk from nearby attractions, so we just walked everywhere. First time I've written such a long review, haha! I'll definitely be back!!

The location is fantastic, offering a quiet escape right in the heart of the action. It's right next to Dream Valley, and our floor-to-ceiling window offered a view of the pirate ship ride – super cool! The guesthouse's courtyard design is like a charming little garden. The room itself is a delightful blend of retro Chinese and modern stylish design. The bathroom features a smart toilet that automatically lifts the lid when you approach and flushes and washes automatically when you leave. The seat temperature is adjustable too. We also loved that we could choose to watch TV or cast content to the screen simultaneously. The auntie's Aomen noodles for breakfast were absolutely delicious – a true local specialty! Even my picky eater finished a big bowl, which says a lot! 😂

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended Stay in Hengdian! I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Hengdian. The location is excellent—just about a 10-minute walk to Qin Palace and Dream Valley. There are convenience stores nearby, plenty of restaurants, Hanfu rental studios, and Youyi Photo Studio, making it very convenient for travelers and photoshoot enthusiasts. What impressed me the most was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and easy to approach. They even upgraded us to a family room, which made our stay even more comfortable. The amenities were complete, and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job every day. The room was cleaned daily, water and toiletries were replenished, and towels were replaced regularly. The best part? The manager went above and beyond by helping me purchase Zhang Linghe’s Molison eyeglasses! ❤️😍 As a fan, I was so happy. I also received lots of Zhang Linghe freebies, which was such a thoughtful surprise. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of service, convenience, and hospitality. In fact, we enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to extend it! If you’re planning to stay in Hengdian, I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel breakfast was plentiful, and the environment was clean and hygienic. I would stay here again next time I'm on a business trip.

Malay Malaysian guest here😍 I stayed here for two nights as I was visiting Hengdian. overall I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. Cleanliness was very satisfying, the room n toilet were well maintained. The bathroom came with basic amenities like slippers, toothbrush, towels, and a floor mat. The shower, sink, and both hot and cold water worked perfectly. The room was also well equipped with a kettle, cups, and some sachets (possibly coffee or tea). The TV and air conditioning were both functioning well, which made the stay comfortable. One of the best things about this hotel is definitely the location. It’s situated along Wansheng Street, which is very lively and happening at night. You can easily walk around as everything is nearby, plenty of shops, restaurants, and even a pharmacy right in front of the hotel. For Muslim travelers like us, this location is especially convenient as there is a halal restaurant (qingzhen) just across the hotel, making it very easy to find halal food. The receptionist was also very helpful and friendly. Even though there was a language barrier, they still tried their best to communicate and assist us. Another great facility is the laundry room near the lobby. It’s very convenient, with 2 washing machines, a dryer, a steam iron n even detergent provided. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, facilities, and especially its strategic location✨✨✨✨✨

This hotel is an absolute no-brainer – just book it! ✅Service: The front desk staff are practically mind-readers! I was just about to look for a charging cable, and they already handed one over. When I checked out, they even gave me two bottles of water for the road – so thoughtful. ✅Breakfast: Breakfast is served until 10 AM, which is a dream for late risers! I had two bowls of wontons. My only 'suggestion': Can the egg chef please stop asking me 'sunny side up or over easy' every time? Just give me a soft-boiled egg, please! 😄 ✅Hanfu Experience: Free! Free! Free! The styles are quite new and don't have that cheap 'ten-yuan photo studio' feel. I spent half an hour taking photos in the hotel garden, saving myself 60 yuan on hanfu rental at the scenic spot. Small suggestion: It would be even more perfect if they could provide a few simple hair clips or fan props. With just the clothes, my hands didn't know where to go... ✅Location: It's about a 5-minute walk to the scenic area's main entrance – literally 'out the hotel door, and around the corner'. If you get tired, you can come back to relax and then head out again. It's a blessing for those traveling with seniors or children. Overall, it's a super high-value, one-stop accommodation for lazy travelers. I'll definitely stay here again next time. Hopefully, they'll have a few more XL-sized Hanfu outfits then! 😂

I really enjoyed my stay at Hengdian, Half Summer. It’s not too crowded, I don’t have to wait for the lift for too long unlike in a hotel. Check in was a breeze. The staff there were friendly and helpful. For breakfast, you can choose either Chinese style or western style. I preferred the Chinese style breakfast. The bed was comfortable and I was able to have a good sleep every night. The shower always had hot water, even the basin as well. Basic toiletries were provided. The staff even provided complimentary mineral water (daily) and fruits as well. I could also order food delivery. The location is wonderful. I took a high speed train from Shanghai Hongqiao to Yiwu station, then from Yiwu station, I took a cab to 凌云 Lingyun Metro/Light Rail station. Then I took the metro/light rail from 凌云 Lingyun to 明清宫 Ming Qing Palace. Once I exit the metro/Light Rail station, I took didi to the hotel directly. From the hotel, it is only a 10-15 mins walk to 2 local night markets and bubble tea shops. Not to mention that the attractions are also just a short didi away. The only thing that I hoped they provided was local tv channels. They do have a projector, but one would have to subscribe to watch local shows.

The location of Haiya Hotel (Wansheng South Street branch) is absolutely fantastic! Downstairs on the first floor, there's a cluster of fast-food options like Yang's Fried Dumplings, McDonald's, and KFC, offering a huge variety of choices for meals. You can easily sort out all three meals just by stepping out. It's right next to Wansheng Pedestrian Street and the night market, making it super convenient to go out for food, shopping, and a stroll in the evening. No need to go out of your way for sightseeing. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and check-in and check-out were very efficient. They responded quickly to any issues. It's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle; after exploring the night market, returning to the hotel to rest is incredibly convenient. This is definitely my top choice for a place to stay when visiting Hengdian.

The room was quite spacious, and there was even a comfortable sofa perfect for lounging and using your phone. The entrance to Qin Palace was right outside the hotel, which was incredibly convenient. After a day of exploring, it was such a great feeling to walk straight from the attraction's exit back to the hotel. The breakfast was plentiful too!
