The bathroom features a smart toilet that automatically lifts the lid when you approach and flushes and washes automatically when you leave. The seat temperature is adjustable too. "I loved this hotel, it's so cool. I came in a quiet period so they upgraded me to a huge room. The hotel is literally part of the Hong Kong Street Guangzhou Street set so you check in at the visitor centre. I didn't manage to get WeChat working before travelling to China, but it would have been good to have, in order to communicate with the hotel staff. I didn't have any issues so was ok without it. The room was lovely and clean, very cool design and had a great view towards the Ming and Qing Palaces. In case anyone is travelling from Yiwu, there is a metro line that goes all the way to Ming and Qing Palaces and then you can get a Didi from there to the Hong Kong Street Visitor Centre. The breakfast buffet was great as there were so many options. I am vegan so was able to have steamed and fried veggie dishes and there are lots of salad options as well. Being so close to the set means you can see it at different times of the day, especially at night with all the lights on."

The cleanliness was just okay, and breakfast options were limited. Not many guests were staying, but for around 200 yuan for a chain hotel, it's good value for money. Although there were few staff members, they were diligent. When my child threw up in the middle of the night, someone came to clean it up right away after I called. You get what you pay for, and for a hotel near a scenic spot at this price, it's acceptable."
