The shower and toilet weren't separated into wet and dry areas, which resulted in a slightly unpleasant odor. The sink faucet only had cold water, which was too cold for washing faces and brushing teeth in winter, so we had to get water from the hot water heater. The mattress was quite firm; those who prefer soft mattresses should consider this. It's recommended that the owner disinfect the slippers regularly. The landlady was very friendly and attentive!

I've always noticed this hotel was fully booked, so I finally decided to try it out on my way through. There were a lot of people checking in, but the process was surprisingly fast. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the layout was well-designed. The night light was absolutely fantastic – just enough dim light so it didn't disturb my sleep but also prevented me from fumbling in the dark. The private hot spring tub filled up with hot water in about 5 minutes, which was really impressive. The balcony also had a very handy drying rack. Building A offers beautiful pool views. There were even yogurt and fruit in the fridge. Parking was convenient. The hot spring area itself is huge, and the water is very clean and smooth. No wonder so many retirees love coming here, everyone says the water quality is excellent and clean. Even though there were many people, there are so many hot spring pools spread out over a large area, truly worthy of its 4A scenic area rating. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets had their own unique specialties, with a wide variety of dishes and drinks. The food quality was great. We choose the Seli Hotel due to fact that they allowed our dog. The location was great for us since there is green corridor between the hotel and the canal which made it very easy to bring our little friend out for his business. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room itself was spacious and the mattress was comfortable. The lights are a bit challenging to navigate. Floors and carpets could get a bit more tender love in terms of cleaning. Great breakfast buffet and environment, very light and inviting. We wished there would be a minifridge in the room though. A drawback is that you hear everything, from people in the adjoining rooms. We even hear the music from the hallway. But they did turn it off after we asked.

This hotel is very good indeed. The room is extraordinarily large and well presented in wooden finish. It is exceptionally clean with a large bathroom that offers everything I could require. The staff are wonderful, friendly and very helpful. Often, I would find that they had anticipated a question or need. The breakfast is very basic and functional with fried noodles, boiled eggs, Baozi (steamed buns) and Zhou (rice porridge), plus tea. Personally, I liked it a lot but I could imagine many travelers finding it too basic for their taste. I love staying here and do so whenever in Hezhou.
