Kunshan Hotels with Breakfast

The room was quite clean, and the experience was good. There's a MixC shopping mall across the street, making dining very convenient. It's also not far from Kunshan Ancient Town, about a 15-minute drive. It's in the city center, so it's quite convenient.

Very stylish boutique hotel inside the Ancient Town with high-quality beauty products and comfy beds. Very friendly & accommodating staff who tried to fulfill all wishes reg. breakfast (Western & Asian options) and offered pick-up/drop-off with golfcart. Delicious coffee & great terrace. Recommended!

The room had so much character, you could tell the owner put a lot of thought into every detail. The service was also incredibly attentive; the owner tried their best to accommodate all our requests. Highly recommend! And since it wasn't peak season, the room rate was quite reasonable too.

The hotel is clean and grand, with spacious and bright rooms. The front desk staff and servers are polite and enthusiastic. The breakfast has local specialties; the Aozhao noodles and chicken broth wontons are fresh and delicious, and the various seasonal vegetables are quite fresh.

I stayed at the Shuxiang Fudi Hotel in Zhouzhuang, and overall, it was a great experience. What impressed me most was the service: as soon as we arrived at the parking lot, a staff member was already there to greet us. They then helped us get our entrance tickets and personally escorted us all the way to the hotel – it was incredibly thoughtful. The breakfast wasn't particularly elaborate, but it tasted good. At check-out, they even gave us a souvenir, which was a very nice touch. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Zhouzhuang.

Overall an enjoyable and relaxing one night stay at this tiny cosy hotel in Zhouzhuang, for our final leg of our 6 days Suzhou trip. We took a didi over to Zhouzhuang, which was faster and cheaper than I expected, just a little over half an hour. The hotel staff called me the day before to arrange for pick-up near the watertown ticket office. Actually I can't speak Mandarin and their English wasn't too good but we ended up chatting on Wechat as Wechat has a built-in translate function in their chat. So, 15 minutes before we arrive, we just had to let them know on Wechat. And the staff is already waiting for us, helped us with the luggage and guided us through the ticket buying process. You do have to pay for the ¥100 RMB ticket to get into the watertown and the ticket is good for 3 days. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the entrance. I picked this hotel because it was right inside the watertown and it had the ancient Chinese interior, although all the amenities are modern, including a robust and high-tech Kohler smart toilets in each bathroom. There is a nice coffee shop inside the hotel and the coffee shop owner is friendly and takes his coffee craft seriously. The hotel gives you 2 free drinks during your stay and the coffee menu is quite extensive. If the hotel rooms are not booked on that day, we are told the hotel opens their doors to coffee customers. The hotel owner is actually younger than I expected so I am impressed she meticulously created this authentic experience and the attention to detail. She was friendly and helpful and was open to accommodating our needs. We booked the entire 2nd floor, which was 3 bedrooms and we had 6 adults in our group. This tiny hotel only has 3 bedrooms so if you booked all 3 rooms, you pretty much get the entire hotel to yourselves which include the first floor which is spacious and comfy. When I visit Zhouzhuang again, I am looking forward to stay here again. It's certainly not cheap, but you do get what you pay for - which is people passionate about hospitality (in a Chinese way) and also a hygiene and staying experience that is certainly up to international standards.

The hotel is located at the intersection of Chengbei Avenue and Huanqing Road. The location is easy to find. Check-in is on the second floor. The environment is elegant, the room facilities are complete, the bedding is comfortable, and there is a midnight snack on the second floor from 21:30 to 23:00! The front desk called us to tell us, which is very considerate! The service is good, the hotel staff are very good, and they all greeted us. Breakfast is also on the second floor. There are many dishes and they are also rich. It is a hotel worth recommending. I will stay in this hotel next time I come here!

Not great value for money. I was driving through Kunshan and needed a place to stay for one night. I looked around and found Hualuxe (I'd stayed at one in Kunming and assumed it would be the same quality), so I booked it without hesitation. The underground parking felt a bit chaotic, and when I went upstairs to check in, the lobby was very noisy. There wasn't just one hotel reception desk; multiple hotels shared a single row. After finding the Hualuxe front desk and checking in, I went upstairs and noticed the elevators didn't require a key card to operate, which made me feel a bit uneasy about security. As I walked down the hallway, an unpleasant smell hit me. I thought it would be fine once I got into the room, but the room itself had a strong, musty, damp odor. The window was very high and blocked by a sofa, making it impossible to open. The biggest issue was that the duvet was completely damp (which is very unusual). Also, the swimming pool is shared with other hotels, so it was crowded, and the restrooms smelled terrible. On the plus side, the room was very spacious, the facilities were decent, and breakfast was quite extensive. The set meal for two at the Chinese restaurant on the second floor was prepared with great care and tasted delicious.

Came to Kunshan with the kids for a getaway during the May Day holiday, and Kunshan Jinling Hotel was our top choice. The lobby is grand and stylish, and the front desk staff provided excellent service, making check-in a breeze. All the room amenities were great, the view downstairs was lovely, and the room was clean. I really appreciate this established five-star hotel. The location is also fantastic, right by the subway station, which is very convenient. We had a great night's sleep, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. At check-out, the front desk even gave us complimentary drinks and luggage tags. Jinling's service is truly the best in Kunshan, highly recommended!

This newly opened Marriott Sheraton boasts rooms all facing Dianshan Lake. It's about an hour's drive from the city, and there are plenty of attractions nearby like Grand View Garden, Zhujiajiao Ancient Town, and Rainbow Bridge. Our room was on the 8th floor, offering fantastic sunset views from a high vantage point. Check-in is on the 2nd floor, accessible directly from the underground parking, which also has charging stations. The lady who checked us in, Yoyo❤️, was incredibly gentle and thoughtful. She proactively asked if I was a Marriott member to link my details and even shared tips on local attractions for easy walking tours.😊 Although I wasn't traveling with family, I'd highly recommend it to those who are. The indoor kids' club is sufficiently sized, featuring a slide, ball pit, and picture books. There's also an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor lawn playground (though it's been a bit sunny lately). It's a great spot to let loose and enjoy the fresh air at sunset. The hotel's dining options are also commendable. The Feast All-Day Dining restaurant offers a breakfast buffet with local specialties like Kunshan Aozhao noodles. While not the largest variety, it's a good blend of Chinese and Western dishes, all exquisitely presented. Cai Yue Xuan Chinese Restaurant serves Huaiyang, Cantonese, and fusion cuisine. The portion sizes are well-managed, allowing two people to order several individual dishes for a varied experience. If you prefer not to rack your brain over ordering, their set menus are a well-balanced and reasonably priced option. Overall, it's a hotel I'd definitely return to. I appreciate the warm staff and the feeling of a welcoming 'home away from home.' P.S. A genuine review from a former colleague from years ago.
