GGuest UserThe hotel offers a pickup service, which was absolutely perfect! The owner herself picked us up and dropped us off. Upon arrival, a staff member helped with our luggage, which was a thoughtful touch. I was amazed when I entered the room; it was even better than the pictures! The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. This place was a pleasant surprise, offering excellent value for money. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Mengla for business or leisure. Wishing the owner a thriving business!

MM247991****This was probably the biggest surprise of our Yunnan trip – we stumbled upon this village by accident. For city dwellers like us, it felt like a paradise. From an extremely impoverished village to one where everyone has an income, the villagers said it was Professor Li Xiaoyun's team (I'm not sure if that's the correct spelling) who helped the village generate tourism revenue. We booked a three-bedroom room for 1730 yuan a night. It was the second day of the ***** New Year, so that's understandable, but seeing in the reviews that it was a poverty alleviation project, we immediately placed the order. Since we were going to book a guesthouse anyway, it wouldn't hurt to do something good. Driving from the Wangtianshu Scenic Area, there's only one road into the village, and the winding roads scared me half to death! Definitely check in during the day! The one-way street makes passing difficult, especially since we were in a campervan. When we arrived, we were truly shocked. It was a village with only one small shop. To be honest, that might not be accurate; there were no restaurants, no milk tea shops, no convenience stores, no coffee shops – absolutely no commercial establishments. Honestly, I was a little shocked because I didn't expect such a pristine, authentic village. Each guest room was in a different family's home. The village has over 60 households and more than 200 people. You can pay the family you're staying at to have their meals prepared, using vegetables they grow themselves and pigs and chickens they raise themselves. I haven't written this review yet because I really wanted to sit down and write a proper review. If my initial impression of the village was surprise, astonishment, and a little regret, then afterwards it was pure joy, delight, and regret for arriving too late. In the evening, I watched the village girls dancing on the basketball court. The owner of the house I stayed at, Brother Deng, was born in 1984. My husband and father ate and drank with him, and he even took my father and husband to visit other villagers. Everyone in the village was simple, honest, and warm-hearted. Although I couldn't understand their dialect, I could feel everyone's kindness and welcome. Even though the rooms weren't very soundproof—after all, it's a wooden village, part of the Yao culture—it was very clean. You could tell they were putting effort into making this a good tourist destination. I hope Hebian Village continues to thrive. See you next time! If you're willing to put down your phone and experience nature, to escape the city and enjoy a day of simplicity, believe me, it's worth the trip, unforgettable, and truly a return to nature. This special trip perfectly embodies that feeling.

AAixuanbaobeierThe hotel environment and breakfast were average, but the hotel was clean. The service was good. There was a laundry room, which was convenient. Parking was available. Complimentary welcome fruit was provided. The front desk staff were very responsive. Thumbs up! The swimming pool was being cleaned and not filled with water, so I won't comment on that. The rooms were spacious. Again, I want to reiterate that the cleanliness was good and the facilities were new. For a small town, this is considered relatively good accommodation. I would recommend staying here.

Ccoolsky668The overall environment is well-preserved. The wooden cabins are simply furnished, and there are many wild flying insects. The service is excellent. It's about 4km from the Lao-Ta border. The border crossing is very basic, and there aren't many tourists. The owner said that many government and business visitors come here. There's a new rural construction demonstration site nearby, giving it a remote and impoverished feel, with not much to do. You need to make a reservation by phone before arrival, otherwise you won't even be able to find the door!

MM14225****I chose this one because unlike other homes, it is a modern room design, but the design of teak, very beautiful, the room is large, and the hygiene is cleaner than the average hotel. Hotel location is very good, located in the new district, nearby are all beautiful single-family buildings, there are several hotels, there are few people and cars, very quiet. Behind the hotel is the Nanla River. In the evening, you can take a walk along the river and walk to the Star Night Market. The hotel went out and turned left. It took about ten minutes to walk along the road. There was a rice noodle shop that was very delicious for many years. It is very convenient to take a taxi to other places for ten yuan.
The hotel staff are also very good, warm and friendly. In short, stayed for three nights very comfortable and very recommended.

GGuest UserI didn't expect a three-star hotel at this price point to offer such an experience—the value for money is truly outstanding! Even though it's a three-star, the hygiene standards are on par with some four-star hotels. The room was spotless, and the bedding was incredibly clean and soft, making for a very comfortable sleep. For travelers on a budget who still prioritize cleanliness, this is definitely the top choice. I'll stay here again next time I'm in the area! Full marks, highly recommended!

GGuest UserThis hotel was amazing. It’s only a year old but the amenities look like it’s brand new and inside of the room seems no different from a five-star. The only thing missing was a bathroom scale. Nice courtyard pool below just big enough to do some short laps and a kilometer from the night market. Interesting little area and they have street side eatery outside with a good view. The best part though is the manager Mr. Wu was exceptionally helpful. When he saw me arriving by bicycle, he did everything he could to make my stay more pleasant and even offered to go the extra mile with extra service and help. An unbelievable bargain, and a nice end to my journey.

It's a newly renovated building, but the hallway smells a bit strong. Also, the family room is in the annex, and the laundry room is in the main building, so they're not on the same floor, which is inconvenient.

As soon as you step into the triangular house, the unique shape is eye-catching. The wooden structure is matched with large glass windows, which complement the surrounding rainforest. The sunlight shines in, and the light and shadow are mottled, which is beautiful. The facilities in the house are far beyond expectations. The bed is soft and warm, and you can sleep well all night; the independent bathroom is clean and tidy, hot water is available at any time, and the supplies are exquisite and complete.
The most intoxicating thing is the surrounding environment. In the morning, you are awakened by the crisp bird song. When you open the door, fresh air with the fragrance of plants and trees hits you in the face. Strolling along the rainforest trail, you can see lush greenery, encounter rare plants and smart small animals, which is fun.
The service is even more heartwarming. The staff is enthusiastic. They will introduce the gameplay in detail when you check in, provide help at any time during the tour, and carefully prepare rainforest specialties. You can also enjoy the gluttony on your tongue. Here, people and nature blend together, and fatigue is swept away. I sincerely recommend it to all friends who yearn for nature. Come here to start a spiritual journey!
