"This was the second hotel we stayed at on our birdwatching trip in Menglun. It was originally a backup plan because we booked the Wanglian Hotel late, but after staying there, we found it to be a hidden gem. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the west gate of the botanical garden and the suspension bridge, which is very convenient. We walked there from the botanical garden. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were immediately greeted by warm service. The landlady was incredibly welcoming, and there were complimentary candies, snacks, and fruits for guests to enjoy while they waited – a very thoughtful touch. After check-in, you can add the service WeChat account to let them know the breakfast time and location, nearby restaurants, and the Wi-Fi password. The service response time is also very fast; my room had a problem with the TV's internet connection, and it was resolved within 10 minutes. I think that's impressive for the town. The hotel facilities are relatively new, with a mahogany interior and ethnic style. The facilities are quite complete, and surprisingly, it even has a small gym – great! It's nice to get some exercise after a long day. The breakfast selection isn't extensive, but it's sufficient. If you don't want to eat breakfast there, there are many snack shops and night markets nearby. For example, there are many Dai-style restaurants in the village within a 500-meter walk of the hotel, offering authentic local flavors that are worth trying. The hotel has a relatively large parking lot, making it convenient for tourists arriving by car. A small gift is given upon check-out, which is also a nice touch. Overall, we stayed here for two nights, and our biggest impression was how incredibly welcoming the owner was. We were always ready to chat and provided a lot of information. If you're not particularly keen on the botanical garden night tour, this is a very good value accommodation in Menglun."

"This hotel is right by the North Gate of the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, making it incredibly convenient to enter and exit the garden with a weekly or monthly pass. The owner is a birding expert and can arrange excursions to see birds both within the garden and at nearby bird hides. You can also chat with the owner daily, making this the perfect choice for any bird enthusiast!"

"The best hotel on this trip. **Ambiance**: It's located inside the botanical garden, which is super convenient and the air is great. **Cleanliness**: Very clean. The room was a bit humid, but there was no mold. **Facilities**: Although a bit dated, the quality is still there. **Service**: The service was excellent! They gave us a card to easily enter and exit the botanical garden even before we checked in. And after we checked out, they gave us another card so we could go out, have a great meal at the botanical garden, and then come back in to continue exploring. The night tour activity was also very interesting."

"This hotel is very affordable. The quality is therefore commensurate with the price. There are many restaurants around the hotel, so you'll have no trouble finding something to eat. The night market is within walking distance. There are also pharmacies and shops nearby. The free Wi-Fi was very fast. The windows don't have screens, so opening them could let in insects. Luckily, I didn't suffer any insect damage, though. My room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, so I had to open the windows to ventilate."

"The hotel is really nice, great value for money, right by the Nanla River. We come every Saturday for the market, which is just a 5-minute walk away. The whole resort is very relaxing; the village has amazing plants, including a unique brown bamboo called "Crooked-Legged Dragon Bamboo." The market is very lively on the second day, the fruit is fresh, and the grilled fish and other dishes are fantastic. There are many elderly Dai people dressed beautifully."
