Miaoli Hotels with Breakfast

非常非常乾淨，因為提早抵達民宿，還沒整理完，不過說可以先讓我們放行李，走進客廳時工作人員正在拖地，放好食物和行李要離開時，聽到其中一位和另一位小聲地說再拖一次（地板），很讚美他的細心。寵物友善的部分也十分讓人讚許，會收300元的寵物清潔費用，可以在屋子裡自由跑跑跳跳。

The environment and service are good, the B&B is quite clean, the facilities are all new, the audio-visual equipment is also very good (you can watch Netflix), and a delicious breakfast is also provided. Of course, all of these are reflected in the price!

This place is a jem! The room we booked is relatively big with a balcony. Room is also very clean but do expect some bugs flying in.There is also a tub light hotspring. We are on the third floor so carrying 2 big luggage up took.some effort. The hosts were very friendly and warm. All ready to recommend places of interests or local must try delights! Breakfast is included and it is sumptuous! Really yummy local vegetables to go with porridge. Toast is also provided with fruits, coffee and tea. The dining and beverage corner is available for use at anytime. Everything is closed by 6pm in Miaoli so be sure to have early dinner or buy some before then. The hotel is also has a small vegetable garden with some rabbits and chicken they keep as pets. They built a boardwalk along the river but it is also easily accessible. Definitely recommend staying here!

I didn’t feel like the hotel was worth what I paid for, but since it was a stopover I guess I can’t complain much. Hotel is big and felt chaotic. The amusement park closes at 6pm so we also didn’t have much time to play, the rides were not fantastic as well.

The service was impeccable. However, two points could be improved upon: 1) The hot water in the shower was inconsistent, fluctuating between hot and cold. 2) We had to walk a fair distance to get breakfast. It would be a significant improvement if breakfast delivery to the hotel were an option.

The hotel owner is very kind and kind, We arrived late and had a phone call to remind ～ Hotel location ⭐️🌙 a bit dark at night 😟 afraid ... The room is very large and comfortable, and the shower head hanger is a bit loose when taking a bath ... forgot to say Breakfast is very rich 😋 Seasonal porridge is super delicious and boiled eggs. I can't finish it with ..., soy milk is very thick and smooth .... and it's too full 😅 The overall environment is natural, very suitable for relaxing and roaming 🥰 You can walk around and shoot for a long time ...

Privacy was extremely poor; people could see inside from the outside. Could this be improved? Otherwise, what should be done about being secretly photographed? Using such a small place felt really unpleasant. I hope this can be improved. Overall, the accommodation and food were excellent, and I hope for a complete overhaul next time. One thing I must praise is the incredibly friendly foreigners at breakfast – 100,000 points! The service was excellent.

The quad room was really spacious. The double bed was made up of two enlarged single beds pushed together. The air conditioning vent was directly above our heads when we slept, so turning the fan down or the temperature up meant we got too hot. I'd suggest repositioning the air conditioning or the bed. There's a small game area which is good for passing the time if it rains. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the evening.

The exterior and its proximity to the places we visited were quite good! The front desk service was also excellent, and they recommended dining options. The complimentary breakfast was simple yet substantial. However, the bathroom facilities in the room were a bit old, especially the water damage on the walls. Nevertheless, it's a friendly hotel for families with children 😊

Visited in April... The local guesthouse had a very clean and spacious room. The guesthouse entrance was a bit narrow, so drivers need to be very careful with the surrounding traffic. The first room upon entering felt like the reception, so I stopped to inquire. The staff seemed quite relaxed in their work. I had booked the room in advance via an app, specifically choosing this place because it was advertised as pet-friendly. I also called ahead to confirm and made a note in my reservation. However, upon arrival at the front desk, I still had to proactively inform them that I had a pet with me, as they charge a deposit and a pet fee (the deposit is refundable upon check-out). Parking was a free-for-all; cars were parked haphazardly in front of any building where a space was available. It wasn't allocated to your specific room/building. I believe this needs improvement 😮💨. I was staying in one building, but my car ended up parked three or four buildings away, which was really inconvenient for loading and unloading. Then there was breakfast the next day. Online reviews made it sound good, but in reality, it was a tiny space with only a few limited dishes. The coffee and soy milk were incredibly sweet, to the point of being undrinkable. I was very disappointed. What upset me the most was that despite being advertised as a pet-friendly guesthouse, they wouldn't allow my dog into the dining area for breakfast. We were flat-out denied entry. When I tried to discuss it, they claimed it was to avoid disturbing other guests. However, there were only two other guests in the dining room, seated further inside. I suggested we could sit at the table closest to the entrance, in the corner – just a small spot for him to be. But they firmly refused, and I was absolutely furious. If they had informed us of this rule either beforehand or during check-in, I would have understood and we could have taken turns eating breakfast. But we had all come down for breakfast without having eaten yet, and they expected us to just leave our dog outside?! I was utterly enraged. I really hope the guesthouse can clearly state that pets are not allowed in the dining area, or at least specify conditions (e.g., pets must be in a stroller or carrier) for entry. This would help other pet owners avoid such an unpleasant surprise. Ultimately, it was a genuinely clean and spacious accommodation, but the staff's attitude left a very sour taste in my mouth.
