GGuest UserIt was just an absolutely amazing experience from the very beginning and until the very end of our stay, not even just in the hotel, but in the city of Pingyao itself in general. Me and my friend are traveling very light and without guides, and in Pingyao we had only one day: from evening to evening of the next day. Huge huge thanks to everyone who made this day unforgettable and ultimately comfortable for tired us: Alice, Helen, Fenny, Hana, and all others who was there for us.
The hotel service is simply excellent: as soon as they learned about our late arrival, they immediately offered to meet us at the railway station, which was absolutely the sweetest thing. They brought us to the city gate, met us there, and walked us to the hotel. There they gave us a map, on which they explained in great detail where everything is, what is worth paying attention to, how it is better to build the route, and what opening hours different sights have. They also helped us organize a private transfer to Shaolin Temple the next morning. It was just perfect: we got there in 15 minutes instead of one and a half hours by foot, and after our walk in the temple they met us and brought us back. Also on the evening of arrival they helped us immediately buy the ticket for visiting all attractions of the city, valid for three days. And also they advised us where to eat, and gave us a hotel discount in both places. We did not regret it even once, the food was amazingly delicious in both places!
The hotel itself is just wonderful: it really looks exactly like in the photos. You want to photograph every corner and record how the sparrows are chirping on the roof, and how two wonderful cats are meowing. The room also matches and even exceeds expectations. A huge kang bed, very comfortable. Excellent shower with everything needed. Breakfast is included in the stay: the traditional Chinese one was very tasty! Unfortunately, we did not manage to eat the egg, it was freshly boiled and still hot, but we were hurrying to Shaolin Temple by opening time. Also the hotel has a laundry service, and special thanks for that too! Washing and drying were very fast, and we got our nicely smelling clothes back already after four hours, which was critical for us, because we were leaving the same day.
We felt like we really were honored guests, and we really appreciated it, even if only for one day.

MM445315****Come to Pingyao to play, it is estimated that this is a newly opened hotel. The environment facilities have nothing to say. It is very clean and spacious. The hotel is convenient to go anywhere next to the ancient city. There are snack streets next to various restaurants to eat. The hotel service staff are also good. Everything is in place. Give me a good experience, and then Pingyao will live in his house! ! !

JJiebudiaodejimoThe location is great, nestled between Yingxun Gate (South Gate) and Shangxi Gate, making it convenient for sightseeing yet surprisingly quiet. The facilities are good, but what really impressed me was picture #2 [assuming this refers to a specific feature/amenity shown in a picture]. I hope they can plug in the outlets before guests check in. The buckwheat pillow was very comfortable! The service was excellent; they communicated in advance about pickup/drop-off and even offered to drive me to attractions. Breakfast was abundant, featuring local specialties like Pingyao beef. It was well-balanced and tasty. The menu changed over the two days, though for me, there was a bit too much meat. If a full buffet isn't feasible, perhaps offering an Ă la carte menu where guests can choose their items would help reduce waste. And the cats at the hotel are adorable!

GGuest UserAn incredible stay in Pingyao, made even more special by the wonderful hosts of this beautiful hotel. The setting is deeply traditional, stunning during the day and truly magical at night when the lanterns light up the courtyard, creating a peaceful and charming atmosphere.
The hosts, a lovely couple, are exceptionally kind and generous. They provided great advice on exploring the city, recommended excellent local spots to discover Pingyao and Shanxi cuisine, and were always ready to help make our stay as smooth as possible.
I would recommend staying at least three nights to fully enjoy the city and perhaps explore some of the nearby temples. And before you leave, donât forget to pick up a bottle of the homemade vinegar produced at the hotelâitâs a unique and memorable souvenir!

GGuest UserThe hotel's service and cleanliness were absolutely top-notch! We were traveling with two young children, so we pushed the twin beds together. This is the first time I've ever stayed at a hotel where they even cleaned *under* the beds â it was incredibly impressive! I genuinely recommend this place; the price is also very reasonable. The attention to detail is fantastic! Other areas are just as good, no need to even mention them. As soon as we got out of the car, the security guard helped us with our luggage, which was great service. The price was acceptable, the room was clean, and they even gave us a complimentary snack package. The gym and self-service laundry room on the fourth floor were also excellent.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located just within the old town after the north gate. The hotel is well decorated with a beautiful garden. The hotel room was clean and spacious.
The hotel staff are superb friendly and helpful.
In one of the nights in ćčłé„ć€ć, I had left a shop without my haversack after my meal at the old town. I only recalled about my haversack when I returned to the hotel. Immediately, I reported the incident to the hotel staff. Without hesitation, the hotel staff ć°æŠ brought me back to the said shop with his own bike in a cold weather. Although we managed to locate the shop, however, it had already closed for business and there was no people in the shop. It was nearly midnight at that time .
Even though i didnât manage to recover my haversack (cuz i needed to leave the town to another destination early in that morning), I sincerely appreciate ć°æŠ for helping me to find my haversack. He also suggested to me to lodge a Police report so that my lost item could be recovered by mailing it back to my hometown. It was a good idea but I didnât do it cuz the belongings in the bag were not valuable and nothing important.
Once again , I really want to thank ć°æŠ for his patience and service rendered to me.

GGuest UserExcel·lent place to stay, near the main street and with lots of places to eat nearby. The room was immense, clean and very comfortable and the bathroom was so modern and clean. We had an electric toilet where you could flush the toilet automatically and even warm the seat at a certain temperature. It was an experience! They gave us fresh fruit also and provided us with water and clean towels everyday. The hotel looks a little bit old and maybe it needs generally a bit more maintainacee and ckeanenkess but overall the bedroom was fantastic which is the most importants. The staff also speaks very good English and they helped us when we calked them as we didn't find first the hotel. Turns out that Harmony Hotel and Jade Garden Hotel is the same just in case maps doesn't bring you to the right place. Also the experience of sleeping in a traditional house with the gardens and patios outside it's Soo cool.

Mmaymaymay33A beautiful guesthouse, the rooms are beautiful too. Bed is big and comfy, very clean and the bathroom is modern despite how traditional the building is. Also has great heating if desired. The family that runs the guesthouse is so so sweet. Their food is also delicious and a great option for a quick breakfast (the buns are to die for). Excellent location. All in all would definitely come back and recommend this place.

GGuest UserThis trip to Pingyao, I am very honored to choose the glory homestay. Although it is outside the ancient city, it is super convenient to travel. It takes only a minute to walk to the entrance of the ancient city, and it also avoids the trouble of traffic control in the ancient city. The room was clean and warm, the bedding was soft, and I fell asleep as soon as I touched the pillow at night. The owner of the homestay is a retired veteran of 20 years. The service is super enthusiastic. Not only does he help plan the route, but also recommends many small shops that locals often go to. The price is very favorable and only tens of dollars, which is really good value for money. I especially recommend everyone to stay and experience

The location is superb, right on West Street in the heart of the old town, within walking distance of 'Impression Pingyao' and all major attractions â super convenient for sightseeing and dining.
The hotel offers free pickup and drop-off at the city gate, helps with luggage, and provides thoughtful and attentive service. They patiently explained sightseeing routes and even assisted with discounted bookings for 'Impression Pingyao' tickets, saving us time and effort.
The rooms are clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding. The courtyard is quiet and tranquil, making it a very reassuring stay for both elderly guests and children. The amenities are comprehensive, and the breakfast is authentic. It offers incredible value for money. It's definitely the top choice for family trips to Pingyao. Highly recommended; we'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Pingyao.
