Shaoshan Hotels with Breakfast

It's very close to the former residence, only a few minutes' drive away. It's very convenient. The one-stop service for food, accommodation and travel was perfect for us. The room was clean and comfortable, and the food was also good. The owner's father killed a free-range chicken freshly, and we even went to the vegetable garden to pick vegetables. There were nine of us in our group, and we specially asked the owner's wife to be our guide. The explanation was very detailed and we learned a lot! Thanks to the owner and his family. I wish him a prosperous business. I will definitely come again in the future.

THE place to stay in Shaoshan. I felt like I was at home, tucked into a quiet wooded corner of town. They helped me organize my short stay, drove me around, and cooked up an excellent breakfast. They were great company and my only complaint is that I couldn’t stay longer. (The room was perfect; the pictures speak for themselves.)

The hotel environment was comfortable. Our room type was quite a walk, located at the end of the corridor, where I could see a fountain. The room itself was spacious, but the carpet was a bit dirty. Parking was tight; it was a hit or miss situation. Breakfast offered fruit salad, mini wontons, bacon, and boiled eggs, but only one of the two breakfast display areas was set up, perhaps because it was too early and the kitchen wasn't fully prepared yet. If you order takeout, it's only delivered to the designated takeout area at the entrance, and there are no robots for delivery.

The smart room is hygienic and clean. It should have been recently renovated. The toilet is also smart. Everything is very new. It is very close to the highway toll station. It’s just that you have to walk a while to eat. Everything else is fine.

Although it is a homestay, the room is basically the same as the hotel, the air conditioning is very warm, the lighting control is also very suitable, and the hot water is sufficient. The surrounding area is full of homestays, but their home is the most stylish and warm. The vegetable plot can be seen everywhere, the environment is very idyllic, we took the children to know several kinds of vegetables when we walked. The next day I went to the drip hole, climbed the mountain, stretched my bones, and I was a little tired in Changsha a few days ago. It was just right to slow down here.

In this homestay, I feel the closest and quietest mountains and fields to the great people. I feel the footprints of the elderly's childhood, leaving the city where the dust is raging, and entering the sober natural sound of this world. The boss and the proprietress cooperated with tacit understanding, the service was thoughtful, and felt the strong family atmosphere. See you next time.

The owners of this place are the nicest people ever! Even though we did not ask, they gave us a ride to and from the train station as well as to Chairman Mao's former residence. The location is great, it would not have been a long walk but the ride made our visit even smoother. The hosts gave us Chairman Mao pins for free and made us delicious breakfast for a really cheap price. They truly are such nice people! They don't speak much English but I'm sure you would manage just fine with a translator app. The room was a great fit for us, two couples travelling together, and it had everything we needed. We only stayed for one night since there is not a whole lot to see in this town but we would have loved to stay for longer just because the hosts were so nice. The aunt in the hotel is very enthusiastic. Just in the scenic area of Lushan, the price is not expensive. Then eating is also very affordable. The boss also intimately ordered mosquito coils for each of our rooms.
