The location of the homestay is facing the west to watch the sunset. It is perfect to have breakfast outside in the morning without the sun. The swimming pool is the favorite of children, playing from dawn to dark every day. The boss also borrowed our tools to tell us that we can go to the beach to catch crabs in the morning. In short, I lived here and spent a happy three-day and two-night island trip.

LLanlinlucyThis guesthouse, perched on a hill, seems to be quite popular with influencers, featuring many Instagrammable photo spots. Both the rooms and the restaurant boast floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the sea, with the rooms directly facing the Rainbow Lighthouse. The restaurant's view is also fantastic; having breakfast with that sea view in the morning is incredibly enjoyable. Unfortunately, the weather on our first day was terrible, with strong winds and heavy rain, which completely dampened my enthusiasm for taking photos. I imagine it would be amazing to visit in the summer! The in-room amenities were a bit lacking; perhaps to maintain a stylish look, there weren't many power outlets. However, the service attitude was absolutely superb—they were always ready to help. They even gave plenty of advice to us fishing novices who were enthusiastic but unskilled. I must also mention the free pick-up and drop-off service, which saved us a good amount of money, considering that taxi fares on Shengshan and Gouqi Islands can be quite expensive. The recommended driver was also very nice. I'd definitely come back in the summer just for this level of service!

You can dine at sunset and make great movies. The dishes are also delicious and the ingredients are fresh. The most noteworthy thing is the service. They are responsive to every request. The child had a fever on the second day and they helped us prepare a fever-reducing patch. They also helped us cook white porridge for dinner. It's so thoughtful. AAnonymous UserI visited Gouqi Shengshan and Sijiao Island many years ago. The natural scenery is beautiful, but the accommodation conditions are average. This time I was pleasantly surprised to find a good resort hotel. After arriving on the island, the design of the hotel is consistent with the photos. It is modern and simple, with a Santorini style. It was a very comfortable stay and the restaurant in the hotel tasted good, so I could enjoy a leisurely vacation without leaving home, watching the sea and eating seafood in the hotel. Will stay here next time.

The main thing is that lunch and dinner in the restaurant need to be resolved as soon as possible. We ordered takeout. Taxis on the island are not cheap. It is recommended to drive to the island. Because of the sudden strong wind, we felt it was not very convenient to take the passenger and vehicle ferry without a car, so we did not drive there. The overall scenery of Sijiao Island is still good. Manager Zhou provided excellent service and solved the problem very well and we were quite satisfied with it.

LLansedaocaoWe brought our kids to Gouqi Island for the weekend and stayed at this guesthouse – it was fantastic! The location is super convenient, right by the sea with several free beaches downstairs, perfect for kids. You can enjoy sea views and a sea breeze right from your room. The room was clean and tidy, very comfortable to stay in, and the soundproofing facing the sea was excellent. The owner was incredibly warm and thoughtful. Before we even arrived, they recommended sightseeing routes and helped us arrange a driver. When we got to the guesthouse, they even helped us with our luggage. We could ask them anything we needed, and the whole trip was completely hassle-free.

GGuest UserThis guesthouse is a hidden gem! The room was spotless and incredibly bright, with all the amenities you could need. The host was incredibly warm and thoughtful, and communication was a breeze. The location is super convenient for getting around, and the whole place felt cozy and comfortable. Excellent value for money, a perfect stay, and definitely worth coming back to.
A special shout-out to the owner, who was so welcoming and considerate. Right after I booked, they called to offer travel tips, which was a huge help since it was my first time in Shengsi. There are also two adorable dogs in the courtyard. In the evenings, a few of us young people had drinks and chatted about life – I've never felt so relaxed. If I ever come back, I'll definitely choose this place again!
