Shilin Hotels with Breakfast

On New Year's Eve, the beautiful girl at the hotel front desk invited us to their family banquet. The food was delicious and unforgettable. The owner of the hotel personally added a lot of dishes and corn juice for us. The food was very healthy. The hotel focuses on health care, and the facilities are great and intelligent. I am so lucky to have chosen this hotel. It made me feel the hospitality of the Yi people at the beginning of the new year. I really want to stay here and not leave. It is so comfortable. On the first day of the new year, the beautiful girl also made me a hearty breakfast.

The hot spring was nice; the water was changed frequently and it was clean. The log cabins were nice, and the rooms were clean. However, all the facilities in the bathroom were very old and worn out. For example, the toilet was wobbly, the buttons were hard to press, the shower room was old, and the overhead showerhead splashed water everywhere. I suggest replacing them. The overall bathing experience was extremely poor.

Great location that it is near a lot of food places, a store, and the Stone Forest. Even though I already visited Stone Forest on my visit to Kunming in 2018, this was still a good room in that I get my privacy. Hotel workers were nice in that they gave me more water and wanted to make my bed even though I didn't need it. I liked how it had a heater in there to keep me warm whenever the room got too cold. The thing that I was unsure of is how much freedom and accessibility I get in being able to cook things in the kitchen at times and I was confused about whether I was allowed to eat the food that the cook makes, or it is only for guests that order food and pay for it from him. Sometimes the cook is unpredictable in that I don't know when he comes to cook between the lunch and dinner hours. The front desk women were friendly and helpful in giving me information about certain things. I appreciate it when they loaned me a phone charger temporarily when mine broke until I can get a new replacement one. Thank You for that. The only thing I would have to say, is that it is too far from the city center from the train station in where I need to be in order to catch the train to Hekou and cross the border into Vietnam.

For foreign tourists who want to visit the Karst Stone scenic areas, ie Stone Forest, the hotel is just a short walk down the road. Breakfast is buffet style and good. Meals can also be purchased. Locationwise necessitates the use of a vehicle to get to the hotel. Trip.com needs to update the hotel's name on its site. The Hotel's name is not Shilinxuan Holiday Inn. The name or names on the signage is Sloane Place and Holiday Inn Bosheng Shilin.

The hotel has a high floor and a good view, but the shower head is loose and I dare not use it directly. . . There is also breakfast too general, but the whole is OK in the county.

I always stay at Hongshan Lake Hotel when I visit Shilin; the quality is guaranteed. A business trip there was a wonderful surprise! The hotel has excellent facilities, and the conference rooms are spacious and professional, perfect for business activities. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, with complete office facilities and a stable, smooth internet connection. After a busy day, a soak in the hot springs is incredibly relaxing and relieves fatigue. The breakfast is plentiful, and the service is attentive—a top choice for business travel!

The room is clean and bright, and it is very breathable. The floor is covered with blankets and it is very comfortable to step on. ☺️

A nice simple hotel for anyone who is looking for a cheap and convenient place to stay. The place is somewhat away from the main road and the nights are really quiet, you can even hear the crickets! The check-in was fast and smooth and the lady at the reception professional and very friendly. The breakfast costs 15¥ and you can eat as much as you want.
