Shilin Hotels with Parking

Located on a small slope about 100 meters from Torch Square, it offers a quiet retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. Every room in the guesthouse has large floor-to-ceiling windows, is simple, bright, clean, and cozy. The overall temperature is between 10 and 20 degrees Celsius, very comfortable. You can sit on the terrace and in the first-floor garden and enjoy the blue sky, white clouds, and starry night. There are quite a few restaurants in the village, so ordering takeout is convenient. I heard that long-stay guests can use the guesthouse kitchen. The landlady is very nice. If you like a large outdoor space, you can book this place without hesitation.

This was by far the BEST accommodation we stayed in China!! We booked two rooms because I'm travelling with my sister and her boyfriend. Both rooms were extremely clean, the best comfortable beds ever, hot shower, air con, all the toiletries were good quality and the staff were amazing!!!! They helped us out with everything!! Even though they don't speak English or any other language (like elsewhere in China), they were extremely helpful and we managed to communicate with the translator. We stayed two nights but we would have loved to stay longer which was not possible because visa's expiring soon. When we got there, they made us delicious noodles with beef and vegetables and my brother in law is still dreaming to get the same tasty noodles somewhere else in China 😊 We don't know the names of the hosts, maybe they are wife and husband (we are not sure) but surely this was the top accommodation and treatment we have received in China so we would like to thank you two again for everything you have done for us. We are sure your next guests will enjoy their stay at your place just the same as we did. Thank you from Sarah, Myriam and Fabio.

The service is so bad👎🏻! I went to the hotel and paid an extra 1,100 yuan to upgrade the room type. I brought 6 children with me and asked if there was breakfast and what time it was! Just tell me 9:30! No indication of how far it is from the hotel! The next morning a group of people got up and walked over, but they didn't arrive even after walking for 10 minutes. When they arrived, it was past meal time and nothing was provided! I take my kids out with my friends every month! This is the first time I encountered a hotel with such poor service!

The service attitude of the hotel front desk staff is very good. The room is very spacious and has an unobstructed view. You can see the panoramic view of the stone forest. The light is very good and you can make tea. It is very comfortable to stay. It is worth recommending.

Great location that it is near a lot of food places, a store, and the Stone Forest. Even though I already visited Stone Forest on my visit to Kunming in 2018, this was still a good room in that I get my privacy. Hotel workers were nice in that they gave me more water and wanted to make my bed even though I didn't need it. I liked how it had a heater in there to keep me warm whenever the room got too cold. The thing that I was unsure of is how much freedom and accessibility I get in being able to cook things in the kitchen at times and I was confused about whether I was allowed to eat the food that the cook makes, or it is only for guests that order food and pay for it from him. Sometimes the cook is unpredictable in that I don't know when he comes to cook between the lunch and dinner hours. The front desk women were friendly and helpful in giving me information about certain things. I appreciate it when they loaned me a phone charger temporarily when mine broke until I can get a new replacement one. Thank You for that. The only thing I would have to say, is that it is too far from the city center from the train station in where I need to be in order to catch the train to Hekou and cross the border into Vietnam.

For foreign tourists who want to visit the Karst Stone scenic areas, ie Stone Forest, the hotel is just a short walk down the road. Breakfast is buffet style and good. Meals can also be purchased. Locationwise necessitates the use of a vehicle to get to the hotel. Trip.com needs to update the hotel's name on its site. The Hotel's name is not Shilinxuan Holiday Inn. The name or names on the signage is Sloane Place and Holiday Inn Bosheng Shilin.

The hotel is relatively old, and the front desk staff is friendly. There are no supplies in the room except toiletries, and there is only one hanger. The shower head does not produce water, and the hot and cold water of the shower head is unstable, and the water flow is very small and it is impossible to take a shower. The buffet breakfast variety is average.

The central location of the stone forest, surrounded by night markets, large supermarkets, parks, pedestrian streets. Food, entertainment, shopping are all complete, accommodation conditions are very convenient, underground parking is free, and you can walk.

The boss is enthusiastic and generous. Several niche attractions were recommended by the boss. We avoided the pitfalls perfectly. The horse meat downstairs is really delicious and not expensive. I will recommend it to friends in the future. The room is clean and hygienic. The only problem is The good thing is that there are no windows, the sink has no floor drain, and the air conditioner in the room does not have a water outlet and is connected by a bucket. I heard the sound of dripping water all night, but it is good to book such a clean room at this price.
