Taizhou Hotels with Breakfast

The hotel is right by the old Zhexi Street in Tiantai. After arriving at Tiantai Mountain Station by high-speed rail, the hotel thoughtfully provides a free shuttle service. The moment I arrived in Tiantai, I had a great feeling. The distant mountains stretched endlessly, and the water was a vibrant green. The old street seems to be a retro district built along the banks of the original stream, but with its pavilions, waterside structures, ocher stones, and the winding, cascading stream, the giant stepping stones spanning both banks, and the ocher-colored rock slopes peeking out of the water, it's a very well-designed area. Xi Ye (the hotel) is located right on the bank in the core area. Just a few steps to the right is Rong Xiaoguan, to the left is Starbucks, and diagonally opposite is BaWangChaJi. As soon as you enter the hotel, the whole world seems to quiet down. A huge floor-to-ceiling window overlooks a lush green view. There's a pond with koi fish swimming, and two or three clusters of azaleas blooming. The design of this hotel immediately captivated me. Entering the room, it was a spacious 50-60 square meters, with welcome snacks, a minibar, afternoon tea, turndown service with a late-night snack, Le Labo 33 toiletries, custom boat-shaped slippers, a black hotel-branded canvas bag, and even a small wooden prayer bead bracelet. All these details spoke volumes about the hotel's thoughtfulness. I will definitely come back. I love Xi Ye, and I loved the two local eateries I tried; it felt like every chef there was a hidden master, with every dish full of deliciousness and surprises. I came to stay at Xi Ye for Guoqing Temple, and for Xi Ye, I'd be willing to come to Tiantai again next time.

📍 Fantastic Ambiance: The 539-year-old camphor tree in the hotel's courtyard is an absolute ”treasure of the house.” Its lush green stature gives the hotel a unique historical charm. A morning stroll under the tree makes time feel like it slows down. 💁 Top-Notch Service: The butler service deserves a huge shout-out! Their response time was incredibly fast, truly ”answering every question.” They not only offered great travel advice but also meticulously arranged our daily needs, which was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming. 🥣 Dining Experience: Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared, featuring all local specialties. We didn't need to search for guides to enjoy authentic Linhai flavors, starting the day off with great energy. The evening bar service was also good, with well-made cocktails. The reading room had a wonderful, quiet, and elegant atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. 📝 Minor Drawback: Just a small suggestion – while the bar's service and drinks are excellent, there isn't a non-smoking section. This slightly detracts from the experience for non-smoking guests. Overall, the minor flaw doesn't overshadow the positives. It's a hotel with warmth and style, and I would definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Linhai!

This hotel deserves to have a perfect 10 out of 10 rating, and I don't understand why it doesn't have that because it is perfect. The pictures do not do it justice because it is luxurious and it gives luxurious treatment. It is beautiful, very clean, and has everything you need for your stay. The food is so delicious that if the chefs adopted me I would let them, just so I could eat their food everyday. The entire staff including the owner which we were lucky enough to meet is so warm and kind. I'm not sure how much the owner is there but he was there the entire time we were there and would attend us himself when he could. We had our own butlers who were fluent in English and were so communicative with us and anything we needed they would quickly attend to it. The owner also speaks some English himself. I wish I was as fluent in Chinese as they all are in English. The location is also perfect because it is near all the scenic areas and the towns because it's just a very short Didi ride away.The rooms are beautiful and luxurious. I could go on and on about how wonderful this hotel is, but if you get a chance you must experience it for yourself. This is one of the absolute best hotels I have stayed at and I am so glad I got to stay here for our first China visit.

Service: Excellent. We drove ourselves, and the butler was waiting for us at the garage entrance in advance, proactively helping us with our luggage. They also provided parking vouchers. We could take bottled water from the front desk whenever we wanted. When it rained, the front desk also allowed us to take umbrellas freely. Plus, there's a bookstore in front of the hotel, so you can even take books back to your room to read if you find something you like. Environment: Superb. The public areas are very pleasant, with both indoor and outdoor spaces to suit different preferences. The location is also very convenient, allowing us to wander through Ziyang Old Street at our leisure. It's also very close to one of the entrances to the ancient city wall. Facilities: The speaker system is very stylish, and the electric kettle is a trendy, '网红' (influencer-favorite) model. Cleanliness: Quite clean.

I was so happy to get a room with such an unbeatable ocean view during the May Day holiday! It's just a few hundred meters away from Dongxia Beach, but unfortunately, it's small and crowded, and the overall planning of the scenic area isn't very well-organized. The decor at the B&B is simple and comfortable. The owner and hostess are very welcoming. The seafood for dinner was very fresh, and the breakfast was also quite delicious. The mountain drive is quite demanding, but on a clear day, the sea is a pale green. Unfortunately, the weather was bad the next morning, so we didn't get to see the sunrise. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

Choose this place! It's fantastic! The discounted double room was even upgraded! The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, great water pressure, new facilities, and excellent soundproofing. The rooftop waterfall is visible from the window. The guesthouse has charging stations, which is a big plus. It has its own parking lot and a courtyard. The breakfast is quite plentiful, and the owner even cooked dinner when we arrived. The price is very reasonable, and we even went to karaoke. It felt like coming home. The couple is so nice. I'll definitely come back next time.

Shenxianju Star Viewing and Yuemu B&B, which we booked online with Ctrip in advance, is very close to the south entrance of Shenxianju Scenic Area. However, we learned that we were going to visit the next day, and after having a free and rich farmhouse special breakfast, the owner personally drove us there. We went there, and after the tour the boss came to pick us up and meet us at the B&B. Although we only stayed for two short nights, we felt very satisfied. Not only was the room comfortable and clean, the facilities were complete, but the service was warm and thoughtful. They took the initiative to help us carry our suitcases to the room where we were staying and introduced Shenxianjunan It is a leisure route suitable for the elderly, entering from the south gate and exiting from the south gate. The main attractions are basically visited, which saves us effort and time without wasting our legs. In particular, some of the intangible cultural heritage handicrafts and wood carving master-level products of the B&B owner are particularly unique and worthy of praise. Secondly, the delicious dishes cooked by the landlady are full of fragrance and taste, and the taste will be unforgettable for a long time. We drank some wine and sang karaoke, and we were in a particularly happy mood. ...Everything is good, worth recommending, take photos for reference.

He even upgraded us to a bigger room with a beautiful terrace, a higher floor, and an amazing view, which made our stay even more special. What touched us the most was how they treated us like guests, not just customers. They invited us to have dinner together, and we spent the evening eating, chatting, and playing games. It felt very warm and authentic. They also paid attention to every detail. They asked us what time we usually wake up and when we would like breakfast, and in the morning they brought a delicious breakfast directly to our room. As a foreigner who has been living in China for two years, this is honestly the first time I have felt so comfortable, welcomed, and connected with local people during a stay. It was a wonderful experience that we will remember for a long time. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. We will definitely come back again and highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a warm, genuine, and memorable experience.
