"Just returned from a two night stay. The hotel could not be in a better location.....absolutely perfect!
Unfortunately though the hotel is very tired and dated. The lift doesnt work and judging bybprevious reviews im not sure the last time that it was. The bathroom door wouldnt stay closed and my room overlooked the backs where clearly the bins and restaurant staff are. I was rudely awoken by the staff and bin men at 04.45am which wasnt great.
All in all a perfect location and the reception staff were lovely but not really worth the money that it cost!"

"I was nervous about staying here because of a lot of negative reviews. They couldn't be further from the truth. The staff were very welcoming when we arrived the lobby /entrance was very clean with plenty of hand sanitising points. The room itself was very comfortable, clean warm and spacious with great shower and tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast room was a fully stocked kitchen with do it yourself breakfast consisting of fruit, a choice of breads yoghurt cereals muffins croissants tea and coffee. It was very quiet considering its right on the main shopping street very near the castle and theatre with loads of eating and drinking establishments on the doorstep. We had a very comfortable stay and will most definitely be visiting again."

Anonymous UserThe Staff of this Travel lodge are very helpful indeed. All go out of their way to help.
When we arrived, Sanjay helped us with car parking and stored luggage for us while we sorted it out.
We were given items we asked for when the cleaner forgot to leave them in our room.
The breakfast staff were extremely pleasant and helpful at all times. The hotel is in an excellent location and is quiet at night.

What is good: 1) spacious room 2) comfortable 3) generally quiet place
What is not great: 1) sound insulation is poor. You can hear conversations from outside the room clearly 2) wifi from room is not great (it is great from the public area) 3) it’s a bit secluded so don’t expect shopping nearby

Accommodation in the local bar. The bar downstairs is in the direction of Eton in Windsor. It is very quiet. The bed is suitable for two people. There is no elevator. The wooden stairs are relatively narrow and retro. milk. A very quiet town and more comfortable than London ~ 10 minutes walk from the train station. Dinner in many bars is very good👍

Guest UserBreakfast is the most wonderful thing. Only a few items are picked up at the bar. Others need to be ordered. There are only one or two waiters. It takes a long time to eat, and it is not necessarily your favorite. When there are many guests, the waiter is so busy that his face is expressionless. I really don't know why they want this kind of service.
The big bed room is not bad, and the surrounding environment is also very good. Unfortunately, the breakfast mode is not mentioned in the details, otherwise I would not book this hotel.
