"Be aware booked through trip.com and money came out of my credit card when I booked the room. At check in the receptionist had no record of this and I was charged again. I brought this to the attention of another staff member and was told they will refund me. Be aware if you have paid before check in"

Great
GGuest UserHotel in a very beautiful place, spacious rooms, excellent kitchen in all restaurants. Even Michlenov restaurant with 2* stars.
There is a good swimming pool with spa.
Unfortunately, I put 3* for the service, TK when checking in the hotel do not warn that in the spa it is necessary to be in a rubber hat. The shower hat was rejected and we had to leave the pool.
I consider it appropriate to either warn when booking the need for a pool hat (no hotel in the last 10 years is about sitting such), or to give them to guests as a mandatory attribute of use, not to sell. The blonde girl on the pool recession was irritated on, it spoiled the impression of stay. Otherwise, a great hotel.
GGuest UserGreat location to visit the wildlife park but it’s not walkable. Room was lovely. It had everything we needed. Peaceful nights sleep too. You have to pre book the leisure club and children are only allowed at certain times meaning we missed out in the morning as my 13yr old wasn’t allowed in until 9am but we had to leave then.
Breakfast: Choice of food was amazing. Absolutely everything on offer. We were a bit rushed because we had the titanic experience booked so had to be punctual. We had to chase up the toast 3 times. It was the only thing my son would eat so couldn’t let it slide. Then it arrived stone cold so they apologised and redid it for him.
Overall it was a lovely hotel and included some nice touches like Lily O”Brien chocolates in the room, a coffee maker and free bottle of wine for Deluxe rooms. Turn down service was a welcome surprise too.
GGuest UserThe front desk was very welcoming and the service attitude was great! It felt like home. The hotel facilities were complete and there was a car to take you to the airport. The room was quite large and clean. There was water in the room. I was super satisfied!
GGuest UserThe Montenotee hotel is an experience of its own , fantastic views over the city , amazing interior design, delicious food and professional staff .. The glasshouse is superb with quality cocktails and surroundings. Highly recommend.
アアヅサAs many reviews mentioned, the breakfast was absolutely wonderful! I'd highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good breakfast. We booked a double room for two, and it was toasty warm even in January (though we couldn't figure out how to turn off the heater!). The room was spacious, with a sofa and table, which was a nice bonus – it was great to have somewhere to sit and relax with a cup of tea besides the bed. The TV turned on, but no channels came through, so we gave up on that. There was no bathtub, just a shower, but the water pressure and temperature were excellent. The decor and building itself had a lovely vintage feel, like a charming old European apartment, but the shower was surprisingly modern.
GGuest UserAbsolutely brilliant hotel. Staff were nothing next to amazing, especially John (guest relations). Every hotel should have a John. Brilliant. Bar staff again brilliant. Food was amazing. And nothing was ever a problem. Hated checking out.

GGuest UserAs we were staying for one night only we weren't TOO fussy. We got a family room which was also kitted out for wheelchair user. Our view was of a tall, solid concrete wall. Friends stayed in a bright, sunny room looking out over the harbour.. Choose your room carefully if you are staying for a while and like a pleasant view. Breakfast was just okay. I had poached eggs on avocado, peanut rayu and sourdough. Felt it had too many flavours. Would like to have seen some simple breakfast options on the menu. Several dishes served with hollandaise sauce. I also noticed a few flies hovering around the food area. Would not rush to stay there again even though location was fabulous looking out over the harbour.
SSharmaSachinThe hotel was okay overall, but there were a few things that could definitely be better. Water bottles weren’t given every day—you only get them if you ask, which felt a bit inconvenient. It’s something you expect to be taken care of without having to remind them. The internet in the room was quite slow. It worked, but not great—good enough for checking messages, but not reliable if you need to do work or stream anything. On the bright side, the lobby looked really nice—clean, modern, and a good place to sit and relax for a bit. In short, it’s not a bad place, but a few small improvements could make the stay much more comfortable. Swimming pool service was good.
GGuest UserDisappointing. Couldn’t find my booking at all. After getting a room and resting somebody entered to show the room to somebody else.
Unfortunately there was a group of ladies booked at the same time and they made a lot of noise and nobody stopping them so I got up at 3.30. Shouted at them and they went to bed. Went for a shower but no hot water. Asked for a fried egg and 2 sausages for breakfast. That took 45 minutes. It could be a great place with some organisation. We were probably unlucky on the night
