Amazing
GGuest UserHad a good stay, hotel was modern and clean, peoce was cost efficient. Breakfast also included many options, and staff was accomodating when we noticed the eggs we had ordered cooked were still raw.
I liked the pool as well, was clean and spacious enough for a family.
SSamer99Check in and check out were both fast and efficient, and no deposit was required which is a huge plus, GSAs were polite. The room is clean, and spacious enough, and the bed and pillows are comfortable, and the room full of all the amenities that you need.
However the TV is not a smart TV, no Netflix or YouTube, and mostly Thai channels only.
The biggest issue is the air conditioning. Guests have no control over the AC in the room, you cannot adjust the temperature, fan speed, or turn it on or off yourself. Even simple situations, like wanting to turn the AC off temporarily, require calling reception, this is very inconvenient. Guests have different comfort needs throughout the day and night, for example while showering and you wanna turn it off to avoid catching a cold. It is not possible without calling reception.
Having to contact the front desk every time for such basic adjustments is not really guest-friendly.
The gym is very small and has almost no machines, so it’s quite limited.
Restaurant staff were friendly, the food was good, and room service was good.
CChris McGregorI have stayed in this hotel a few times over the years. This time I came with a car. Parking is available. Check in was easy very straight forward. The room was clean no balcony. The bathroom was nice and the shower was good. The breakfast buffet, in my opinion, didn’t have much western food options and wasn’t as good as I remembered it being from the last time I stayed which to be fair was a number of years ago. My wife enjoyed it though which was the most important thing. Check out was pretty straightforward. Overall a little over priced considering the other options in the area.
KKrung THNice choice to stay for travelling this area.
Reasonalble price for the quality and standard hotel with modern style.
Breakfast is not bad, good taste local food.
The best part is very comfy room.
락락쿤It's a bit far from the city center, making it difficult to get around without transportation. Other than that, it was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was particularly good, but since there aren't many places to eat around the hotel, it's best to eat at the hotel even late at night. The fried rice was excellent. The only downside is that the bathroom and shower are very small.
RRic PeksHotel with a country feel right in the city. Beside nice lake and big trees is a change from the concrete jungle. Situated less than 10 minutes to Central Mall and UD town. Rooms are clean, rain shower and good breakfast. Lake also suited for a pleasant stroll after. Will book again.
AasuthVery good location!
Less than 10mins walk to the shopping centre (Central Udon), also less than 15mins walk to UD TOWN.
There's a laundry service (opens 24hr) available in less than 5mins walk from the hotel.
Requirement of 200THB cash for deposit, when checking in.
Stayed in a double bedroom - seemed a little old, but well maintained, cleaned, and most amenities are available in the room.
Swimming pool, small gym and a bar are located on rooftop floor (you'll get welcome drink voucher & breakfast vouchers when you first check in).
Basic breakfast : bread, butter, jam, rice, fried egg, omelette, salad, watermelon, pineapple, water and orange juice.
GGuest UserThe inn is a little secluded. The bathroom was also very clean. I was glad to have a balcony. The staff played music late into the night, making it difficult to sleep. The toilet wouldn't flush, but the staff fixed it for me.
SSPOONMAN366Not sure what was up with the a/c but I had to phone reception each time I returned to my room to turn it back on
Maybe they save power im not sure
Was kind of annoying
Swimming pool was A POOL not a single banana lounge or staff in sight
cleaners were all over it came sprinting to my room with my laundry when she spotted me 'bless'
Requested a queen bed received two singles pushed together
Language barrier was difficult at front counter they had a good heart they just weren't fluent with any English nor can I speak thai so I guess it works both ways in a foreign country
Bathroom was nice enough drain was semi blocked with was a bit annoying
Would I stay again
-if I really had to i would the price was cheap enough but im sure there are better hotels in the area
TTokelauDreamingGood hotel with a nice pool, which sadly, I didn't get to use.
Nice rooms with good facilities. TV, multi-channel, fridge, desk. Big windows, lots of light with blackout curtains and a good view of the hotel front. Restaurants, street food and convenience stores nearby. Short walk to one of the big malls. Train Station walkable - WITHOUT luggage. Bus station is nearer. There's usually a tuk-tuk or two plying for trade outside the hotel.
Breakfast is OK. Not spectacular, but OK: fruit, toast, salad, eggs, coffee & tea.
All the staff were nice: reception, restaurant and cleaning. No complaints.
