This should be a 4 star hotel but it is a disappoin**ent on a number of fronts. On our first dinner we asked for and got tap water. Thereafter we were asked to pay for a bottle. (It would of course be illegal in the UK not to provide free water) I you ask for a glass of wine you get only 150 ml. Bottles of wine are expensive. A good choice of tasty and well cooked food is completely destroyed by an inability to serve it hot on hot plates. Ok, you don't expect piping hot food at a buffet but this is just very poor. One night I had 5 dishes on my plate and not one was even warm, including potatoes. Itwas a similar story for every meal. At breakfast I witnessed a chef frying eggs and then putting them into completely cold diishes. The buffet heating system is totally inadequate. Often the plates are cold too. When we arrived we were told at reception that the outdoor swimming pool was closed and there were no sunbeds but on exploring further we found this not to be true. Staff didn't seem to know what they were saying or doing though they were extremely polite. One morning the pool was closed for no apparent reason. Reception staff didn't know about this and could provide no explanation. There were no sun umbrellas at this hotel until I complained with some force after which we were the only guests supplied with one. The basin in our bathroom was continually blocked because the plug mechanism failed despite several attempts by maintenance to remedy it it took 7 days. This hotel, which appears to be one of several they own, really needs to get its act together. One good point is that the beds were extremely comfortable. It is also located in a beautiful area and despite comments from others is well located for beaches and Brela village. Staff are also very attentive and polite.

Stayed here for one night while visiting the region. It is a very nice, newly refurbished hotel on the beach basically. Service at the reception was good, although a bit slow. There is a charging station for electric cars in their other hotel 200 m away that can be used for no additional charge (at least in April). Rooms are new, nicely looking with soft tones, a great bathroom and some with wonderful view od the sea including a good useful balcony that fits two people. Dinner and breakfast were fine, but nothing special, I would say standard for Croatian coast. It was a standard choice of foods / drinks. There is also a nice bar downstairs, a pool and a beautiful walkway by the beach. All together a very nice place to visit.

This is an excellent hotel with great facilities. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food in the restaurant was very good and there was a wide variety. The hotel is well situated and the walk along the promenade to the Rock is very pretty at sunset.

Not Great Our room was decidedly small for a supposedly double, as was the shower room. The food was of limited selection and not very hot, which combined with cold plates was far from ideal, added to which this was the forest hotel we have ever been in where whilst it was possible to have tea with breakfast it was impossible at any other time of day, very strange

Think this is my 4/5 stay at soline brela absolutely love it. The staff really really make my stay so enjoyable from the friendly greeting from check in to the waitress remembering me in the restaurant, nothing seems to much trouble at all. Watching the cleaners from the balcony in the morning trying to sweep up every single pine needles from the trees, it really does show how dedicated the staff are trying to make sure everything is clean and spotless for your stay. Getting greeted from the staff either for breakfast or dinner when you walk in simply give your room number. The restaurant staff are so attentive and friendly quickly taking your plate/cutlery making sure you have new stuff if needed, after all it is a buffet. The animation team where a real pleasure Laura Antonio and Mia trying there hardest to keep you entertained if you wanted to just chill round the hotel, lots to do for adults and children alike. Spent most evenings in the timun bar where most nights a local singer or band was really enjoyable nothing too loud or brash to listen to, staff in there very quick and helpful making sure you have everything you need again a real pleasure. I absolutely love the location walk a few steps and you’re on the local beach sunbeds available at a price or just relax on the pebbles depending what you prefer. The local brela is literally a couple of minutes where you have the odd bar or restaurant if you fancy something different The only slight downside is the parking which can get very busy but the staff do there best to get you parked as close to the hotel or if not one of the sister hotels. I would throughly recommend bluesun soline the staff really are a credit to the hotel.

The hotel itself is reasonably good. The food was adequate, the staff efficient but not particularly friendly. The room was good but no tea/ coffee facilities. However, I am marking it down because on one the nights we stayed there were a large number of footballers staying for a tournament. We expected it to be noisy and boisterous but it continued throughout the night. It is now nearly 5 am and the noise is still continuing. The hotel seems to have made no attempt to control the noise and consider the needs of other guests who have paid for a good night’s sleep. I do not think anyone in our coach party has had much sleep tonight. I think an apology and a refund is due.

Everything was fine, the sea was amazing, food was very nice quality. We had breaksfast and dinner option and we were asked to buy water at the table on the 3rd day up until then there was no problem. When i told the waiter that we drank water from tap at dinner for 3 days already ge then said i will ask colegue and never came back, ignored us. Service could be better specialy with breakfast and dinner. On overcast days we felt a little bored at the hotel, nothing to do no activities.

We were there 6 years ago and it was already good. The new renovation was really well done. While it may look like a communist time building, its very nice and well designed inside. Staff is friendly and helpful and Brela is a nice small toursit town. Everything is within 5 min walking time.

Good design/architecture, comfortable rooms (we slept well!) and some nice staff members, shout out to Krishan who works on the pool bar - he was very welcoming everyday. Pool is too small for hotel and never possible to get a sun bed due to typical reservation tactics and the hotel does not monitor or enforce its policies of this not being allowed. I mentioned the issue to the hotel reception - they acknowledged the issue but didn’t want to be involved and said I have the right to remove the towels. Food was okay - breakfast is great selection and no problems here, whilst the dinner is very average. Worth noting that on penultimate day of holiday I was struck with severe food poisoning and was bed bound on the final day. Location is great if you want to relax and enjoy a pebble beach with crystal clear waters. Good snorkelling spots and paddle boarding. Go in September as this area is far too busy in peak summer. Be warned that it’s 22euros for 2 beds and a parasol! Nice promenade for walk with some restaurants and bars, but no traditional shops or streets to explore. The mountain provides good hiking and cycling trails but make sure you are well stocked with provisions.
