Lovely property and built in 1923 so it's showing it's age.
Stayed in Library Room. On the first floor and nicely appointed but as with most old buildings you can hear any noise in the common area adjacent and especially the sounds of footsteps in the room above you. Great breakfast with very enjoyable staff.

The Farview is a trip back in time to a beautiful 1925 home with exquisite architecture and amenities. Steve is a super nice guy who fixed us an amazing breakfast!

Far View was a beautiful house built in 1925 . The town doctor built the house for his wife and children.
Our room was on the first floor with a private bath. It was very clean and comfortable. It was the original
library and still filled with old books and new books to read.
Every room is decorated for Chris**as and it is very charming. You know the saying “ if walls could talk”
I know the stories that would come out make your stay even better.
I recommend Far View if you are going to Brenham.The owners couldn’t have been any
nicer. But you need to find out for yourself .

This property is lovely. It's surrounded by trees so you can't even tell it's in a neighborhood. The owners were friendly and hospitable. And the food was a delicious work of art. I definitely plan to return.

This is a unique, beautiful 1920's brick home on 2 acres with extensive amenities. Our king bed was very comfortable. The breakfast consisted of a fruit compote as well as eggs, and sausage. The service was lovely with very friendly and helpful owners and the others who were also staying there. We would certainly enjoy staying here again.

We enjoyed our stay in the Blue Room. The night we stayed there were no other guests, so all was very quiet and private. The breakfast was excellent and very well set up for guests. I enjoyed the history of the house and how well it has been restored and kept up since it was a premier showhouse in Brenham. Highly recommend.
