The shared bathroom was quite old and the facilities were outdated. Breakfast wasn't great, and there was no hot water in the bathroom, only cold water. I won't be staying here again. The only positive was the convenient location.

I needed milk at night, they didn’t leave enough only room and there was no one to ask. It wasn’t replenished. But the staff were lovely and very attentive and enjoyed my stay. Thank-you.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The toilets are clean too and the towels are clean and smell good. They have sink in the room for one person bedroom which is extremely convenient.

It was a bit damp in the basement, and the mattress was terrible; you could feel the bed frame as soon as you lay down, like sleeping in a pit. There were no slippers, toothbrushes, or toothpaste.

Fantastic stay! The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout, with comfortable and very well-maintained rooms. The breakfast was excellent, offering a great selection of both hot and cold options, along with very good coffee to start the day. The location was ideal, with excellent transport connections and easy access to local attractions. What really made the stay stand out, however, was the reception team. Every member of staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bristol.

Very friendly welcome by receptionist. Stayed in a single ensuite room. Bathroom quite tired looking and water got progressively colder when I showered in the morning, which was unpleasant. Did not find the bed and pillows comfortable. Lots of noise from creaking floorboards and doors in the early hours. Fruit and biscuit in room is a nice touch. I got a good rate but unlikely to stay again as need a comfortable bed and hot shower as a minimum when travelling for work

My wife and I booked this hotel to visit our son, as his apartment is nearby. We stayed in a basement room. The bedding was clean, and the bathroom was also spotless. The room was a bit small, making it difficult to fully open a large suitcase. There was also a slight musty smell, which is to be expected in a basement.
