PLEASE BE AWARE, there are two hostals talamanca. One in Ibiza and one in Mallorca. If you book by accident in Mallorca which has happened to more people, you will not get a refund even if it is for more days you pay the full amount!!

I had a terrible experience which ruined my holiday. Nowhere on the website does it say that this hotel is in Majorca. There is well known resort in Ibiza called Talamanca with a popular hotel called Hostal Talamanca. I booked through this website, paid all my money upfront, then arrived at the real Hostal Talamanca to find that they did not have my booking and had no rooms. I spoke to two other couples who had had exactly the same experience, so this is not a one off mistake. This hotel has refused to refund my money so I have paid for nothing. They know their website causes confusion because it keeps happening, but they do nothing to solve it because they can keep the money anyway. Beware!

This hostal was a gamble! Happy to have chosen it. There are several photos that tell two totally different places. Do not consider the ugly photos with 80s furniture, old and dirty. I do not even know if they are real. The rooms are fresh, white, clean and the bathrooms are modern with shower without curtain (which I hate) but with glass. We also had a small balcony, furnished, very pleasant. The location is excellent! A stone's throw from the center with all the bars and behind the structure a small road, 2 minutes walk, takes you to the beach of Cala Petit (the most beautiful of all the coves of Cala D'Or) Easy self Checkin too
