We had fun. The food lacks quality, there was nothing to write home about. You can order at the bar during a time when we spent 2 minutes and they did not want to serve us anything despite having it in front of us, it is the only thing that bothered us.

This was INCREDIBLE!!! We arrived at these incredible apartments and were not expecting anything THIS special. We walked into the cool reception out of the Spanish sun and spotted some beautiful Spanish lakes outside the window with large rocks until we realised, hang on these are the pools! The fast check-in and excellent staff meant that we could go right into the pools. The pools were absolutely luxurious. I felt like I was in a tropical paradise. I dived under the crystal clear water and didn't want to leave but if I didn't leave I would drown, but then that's not even possible since there are excellent lifeguards always watching. When we thought the pools couldn't get any better we noticed there was another pool we jumped into this one and it was heated to perfection. Each day when we didn't know what we should do we went and spoke to the amazing receptionists. And with 24/7 receptionists we arrived back past midnight and were still greeted by staff (especially Gabriel). We were sad on the day we had to leave but we gave an excellent goodbye as Gabriel waved to us whilst we drove down the driveway! How can a holiday get any better than this!!!???

Not as advertised. Please be aware that if you arrive after sept 18, check in is NOT 24 hours. We got here at 1.30am then had to get a taxi to another hotel to check in then taxi back. None of this was communicated to us prior to arrival. The rooms are fine, pools are really nice. But bear in mind when booking that the complex is an hours walk to the nearest shop. I say this because out of season there is nothing at all open in the complex, no restaurant, bar, shop, not even a vending machine.

Where to start.......with the positives. The Bungalows are clean. The pool area is fantastic for the kids and well kept. The views from the balconies are stunning. That's it. Negatives: Very dated and shabby (cupboard doors falling off, loose tiles and leaky taps in the bathrooms, shower heads with nothing to hold them to the wall) Not one of the 'hotel' facilities advertised on multiple sites are actually available. No spa, no restaurant, no shop, no kids club, no snack bar, no shuttle bus. If you're going to hire a car (which you'll need to due to the remote location) expect to be extorted out of 10 euro per day to park here. Calpe is lovely I would definitely recommend visiting just not to this hotel. Hotels on the coast are way better located for everything and look to be in better order. I get the impression the bungalows are all being sold off privately, this is more of a locals second home location.

This was a late booking but we read a lot of reviews about the place so went pretty much with our eyes open and it would be fair to say it lived up/down to expectations. It's a well spread-out complex, which brings its own pros and cons. Being built into a mountainside does bring with it sea-views for all rooms (or so it seemed) and the views are fabulous but there are a lot of stairs and the only lift to the rooms was small (5 people max and people really don't want to share such a small space in these times of worldwide health scares) and very slow. Staff are generally friendly and polite, especially the reception staff. The rooms/suites were very dated. Presumably they've never been updated but they were of a decent size, including the balcony, and generally kept clean. Our shower was poor but we couldn't be bothered asking if this was the norm. The shower-head basically sits in a fixed unit on the wall and doesn't move so the water shoots across to the back wall, hitting the towels. To get the water to fall into the bath means reducing the force of the shower significantly so you end up with a weak shower. The hotel was generally quiet when we were there so the restaurant was fine but I imagine it would struggle to cope with big numbers in peak season. The food quality was quite variable - we had a 'veal' cutlet that would have made good shoe leather - but there was always something tasty, edible and plenty of it. The house wine was disappointing; obviously very cheap stuff and the most disappointing of any house wine I've had on an all-inclusive holiday. The location of the hotel is fine if you're happy to stay around all day and people with mobility issues seemed happy to do so. The free minibus shuttle service into town helps but is too infrequent and not easy, as others have commented, to get a space in. Calculating connections for the bus to the train station and back adds strain to the holiday if you want to go beyond the town of Calpe itself. The entertainment guys were brilliant with the kids' disco (9-10pm), the highlight of our day! I don't mind that they cater for mainly Spanish holidaymakers in terms of the music but the quiz was 90% Spanish and, sadly, the guys' English wasn't really good enough for the job. Would I recommend this complex? If you're happy to go with the knowledge gleaned from the reviews, then yes but keep your expectations low and hope not to be disappointed. Would I go back? No. I've had far better holidays [for a lot less money] in far better located all-inclusive places on the Costa Blanca.

Where do I start hmmm. Bring a travel kettle cups and coffee!!! Positives Check in was easy, pools are decent. Entertainment is alright kids enjoy it , the view is fantastic from apartment. !!Photographer was great she's amazing!! Negatives. Entertainment for kids is the same every night. Food is the same every meal with the odd change. Ice cream for kids is very poor, NO tea or coffee in rooms , NO cups plates etc either , lift never works , taken 4hours to get a travel cot in room, cleaning staff just enter room when the feel like it , Not enough sun beds it's like the generation game to get one, if don't get one your sat on the ground , Went to order a snack 2 minutes before opening bar man told me can't big boss man watching , then when 2 minutes passed "Big boss man" was barking orders at the barman in Spanish to feed him and 2 girls was waiting 10minutes. At meal times they lock a door so you have to walk all the way round , I feel the hotel go out there own way to upset the guest's, self catering apartments for all inclusive?? With nothing in the them I'm lost ? I can pay £38 a night at premier Inn and get 2 cups, tea and coffee and a kettle. Phone in doesn't work rust in fridge. Tried to book the free taxi from apartments keep getting told NO. Don't think I will be returning.

We’ve just returned from a weeks holiday and really enjoyed our stay. Loved the pools and the view of Calpe is amazing! The rooms were a bit basic, but clean and had everything we needed. I found the bed so uncomfortable (husband loved it!) but the sofa bed was fine. Food was good and plentiful. Entertainment was good. The team were fun and full of energy. My son loved playing water polo during the day and watching the rocky disco on a night - which the younger kids loved! Check out is at 12pm but we weren’t being picked up until 6pm. No problem, we vacated the room, reception stored our suitcases and we spent the day by the pool. We paid for lunch and got showered and changed in the spa (for free) The resort puts on a free transfer into Calpe, bookable the day before, and taxis to and from Calpe are relatively cheap. You need to be up and ready to get a sun bed at 10am if you’re spending the day at the pool. The pool gates open then and you need to grab what you can! We never had a problem though and always got beds in the spot we wanted. Overall a great experience. It’s not the most luxurious of hotels but we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, okayish accommodation. Children enjoyed the swimming pools, some of the entertainment-not all as 90% in Spanish which meant they didn't know what was happening. One if the bungalows we had, had some cracked tiles which we reported but not actioned up until we left-hazard especially with children running about.

Amazing hotel with stunning scenery. The pools kept the children entertained for hours. The staff are very helpful, nothing is too much for them and they go over and beyond to resolve any queries. We would 100% visit again.
