says 5 star but defiantly not a 5 star hotel. It was clean and A/C worked great. Location was good. Place is super cooky.

The hotel is clean, staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Everything closes at 10 in the town. I loved the place and I recommend it!

Modern, clean and welcoming structure, excellent and efficient services, high-level restaurant, good breakfast.

Clean and quiet

We paid €350 for a room on a Saturday in early June - the price was bonkers but we thought let’s splash out and treat ourselves … Famous last words. I don’t think I’ve ever been so let down at a 5-star hotel or any hotel for that matter, ever! Everything was below par, from the bizarre room design (the TV faced the door not the bed!), I could only add one piece of luggage to the ‘walk-in’ wardrobe and the noise coming from a private event in the only bar in the hotel was unendurable, to the crappy breakfast (horrible filter coffee and juice from cartons - from the land of oranges!!). The hotel is so badly designed that noise is funnelled through the central lift shaft and dispersed throughout the whole building. It would be funny if it hadn’t nearly ruined our last weekend in Italy. Staff tried their best but this is a poor poor excuse for a hotel. Avoid it all costs. I’ll happily answer any questions if you’re considering booking.

We spent 5 wonderful days at the Carrick Hotel during a recent trip to the Ligurian coast to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. This is a lovely and modern hotel in Camogli and you can easily walk down into town and the beach, but you are just a bit removed from the crowds, which is nice. We had one of the rooms with a deck and personal jacuzzi and we spent a lot of time enjoying the view, soaking in the tub, and smelling the lovely jasmine that grows all over the front of the building. The complimentary breakfast was spectacular each morning, with lots of sweet and savory options. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, but the breakfast area staff were exceptional and created a wonderful way to start our day. We especially liked that breakfast was served until 11 for those of us who like a little later start to our day while on vacation.

We had the most amazing stay at the hotel in Camogli. From the moment we got there the staff were so attentive. The room and breakfast were both gorgeous and had everything you would need. The most amazing part of the hotel was Rosario on reception, she was such a gorgeous lady - she always welcomed us and gave us the perfect recommendations in town, from restaurants, to coffee shops, to activities etc. One evening she called a local restaurants to book us a focaccia making class and I have to say it was the most amazing thing I’ve ever done - we had the restaurant to ourselves and learnt all about Camogli whilst making the most delicious food with the most wonderful chef. Rosario is a credit to the hotel and I would 100% recommend Camogli/ the carrick hotel to anyone.

I chose this hotel because it seemed to be close to the sea, it had a spa and because I had caught a very good offer on booking, 185 euros/night. Unfortunately, things are not quite like that. The room they accommodated me in has a maximum of 12 square meters, the door to the bathroom is hinged. The spa is paid and costs 50 euros/40 minutes! The breakfast is poor, and the sea can only be seen from the roof. During the two days I stayed, the rooftop bar was only closed. I can only say good about the staff, who were kind.

Everything was fabulous: location, super friendly, professional and efficient staff, very clean, elaborate breakfast options, hot tub on roof top so tranquil and beautiful view, w/in easy walk to city center of Camogli restaurants or food at the hotel restaurant is amazing as well. Easy walk to train station. Can’t express enough how wonderful and helpful the front desk staff was to answer all our questions with assistance and a huge smile. Thank you so much to each of them, everything was perfect for our full week stay.

Breakfast was absolutely terrible, small selection of food, old bread, you must order coffee from the staff and that takes forever, also 10 additional euro for pancakes/waffles/french toast etc. awful. our room always smelt like a garbage, cleaners were also horrible, they always made our bed bud never added shampoo, conditioner and that kind of stuff. Also I had always had a string of their hairs on my pillow (gross). Overall the bathroom was not nice, dirty shower and not very 5 star hotel (still dont get how this hotel is 5 star, the experience was terrible) Also we went for a dinner in this hotel and they onffers us only 4 choices of meal, wtfff? how is this 5 star hotel. The food portions were small and not very good.

The rooftop restaurant with a whirlpool is amazing. Very good view. The food is delicious. The restaurants in Camogli are very disappointed. The one at the hotel is excellent. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly

Everything Was Perfect!! Two couples stayed for six days in the Carrick in Camogli. We were on a "roots" trip for my wife and her sister, both with strong family ties in Italy. We had rented a country house that was represented as being wheelchair accessible which was far from the reality. We immediately escaped and found the Carrick which saved this part of the trip. The hotel has been recently renovated and done beautifully. The bathrooms were especially elegant in Carrara marble. The staff were very knowledgable and helpful. Amazingly they were able to connect my wife with relatives in the town, The food in the restaurant was first class, including the complementary breakfast, We ate at several good restaurants but, unusually, the hotel restaurant was the best. We would definitely look forward to a future stay there. Phil, Seattle

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic few days at this hotel recently. After having a terrible experience at a supposedly 4 star hotel in Rome (Hotel 87), it was refreshing to visit this brand new hotel. The location is in the centre of town, a 5min walk from the promenade and beaches. Check-in was easy and the front desk staff were welcoming. The room was large, bright, quiet and well equipped. Everything was clean. Housekeeping made over the room entirely in the morning, then returned in the afternoon to refresh the bed and put chocolates on the pillow. The breakfast was excellent. It was a classic continental, along with cakes, fruit, smoked salmon, muesli, yoghurt, juice and even prosecco. Coffee was made to order by the staff, while extra options like eggs benedict could be ordered for a fee. The hotel also has a great rooftop bar area where we had a complimentary drink on our first night. The one drawback is that the bar prices were a bit high for a small town like Camogli, which makes it hard to justify drinking there. If they bring the prices more in line with the bars in town the rooftop would be a lot busier. Otherwise our stay was perfect.

We had an amazing time staying in this hotel in the beautiful village of Camogli. The service that we received could not have been better along with the food and we especially enjoyed the apertivo hour in the hot tub on the rooftop. We will definitely be returning again soon.
