This was really a amazing experience for me, I have done many solo trips and this by far the most wonderful stay… the room offered was perfect. The sea facing view was mind blowing. Great food and service provided by the staff. They staff are really good and helpful… on my birthday the staff left me a beautiful note and champagne which was so heart warming.. Thank you so much… would love to come back again as I need to try different facilities provided by the resort. Thank you once again.

The hotel has good potential, as it is fascinatingly located and has an impressive building mass in harmony with nature. The breakfast restaurant is reminiscent of a sterile canteen in a hospital. It was terribly noisy in the room. No soundproofing at all, but good acoustics. Doors and cabinet doors slammed shut all around. You could clearly hear the TV and chatter in the neighboring rooms.

Great location. Calm area by the ocean. Close to everything you need : public bus stop, taxi or rentals, snorkeling and dive office, grocery stores, restaurants and cafes.
Our stay has been upgraded with no initial request for. That sense of initiative was very much appreciated. The support and service from reception and also from canteen have been on a top level ! Thank you to all the team!

Good location and good rooms. But some things could be improved:
- the hot food at breakfast was sometimes cold
- the parking should be free
- the gym should be open during the holidays

Great front desk. Great facilities. Clean and bright and big rooms. Breakfast (due to the rain) was crowded and a bit harried inside with tour groups there. Suggest breakfast out somewhere if the resort is busy. Food excellent. Coffee wait a bit of a problem. Great restaurants nearby. Overall wonderful stay.

The location is right on the ocean which is terrific and the views spectacular. Walking distance to Reis Magos beach and several restaurants and a lovely bakery. The resort was very clean and the people friendly and hard working. Great entertainment each evening and a late afternoon happy hour. We would definitely stay here again!

This is one of three hotels, I think this one being the eldest? Looking a bit tired on the outside, but no problems on the inside
My only gripe was that it would had been nice to have a outdoor Heated pool, with the amount of sun the island gets I thought this would not have been a problem , but saying this… the Germans had no problem with the cold water!!

Check in took too long and in a different Hotel to the Rocamar. It is not what it says on the tin! This is actually three hotels spread across a large area so long walks to get to the restaurants and back if you are the end hotel.
