The host made us feel uncomfortable during our whole stay - which is a big problem when you’re on holidays. As soon as you don’t follow his (questionable) rules, e.g. “keys need to stay in the hotel (unattended in the evening), how and where to park and booking breakfast additionaly”, he weirdly states / answers unfriendly expressions in French (Yep, we understood it, sorry ;-)) In any case, we tried to avoid him which worked more or less because “he’s watching you”. Besides that: - The cleaning is insufficient, e.g. there was dirt in our shower that cannot be cleaned no more, dust layers on the cupboard… - When you leave the room for 30 minutes, the air conditioning is turned off by the host even though it’s 30 degrees outside?! What?! - The refurbishment was done amateurish, so e.g. the laminate is broken already and not repaired (take care not to stumble). Cheapest materials all over the room, also in the bath. - You can hear everything through the thin walls and doors. All in all, we felt the booking was very bad value for money, mainly because the host treated us very rude and seems to be focused on making money instead of customer satisfaction. (We travel a lot and never experienced such a big discrepancy between online rating and reality)
