A ray of hope for Elm A ray of hope for Elm should not only be ascribed to the well-known «Martinsloch». The Hotel Elmer, which opened in October 2021, is just such a hotel. The friendliness of the employees is striking, and the hotel extension, which is predominantly made of wood, gives the guest a feeling of warmth. From the richly laid breakfast table in the larch-wood restaurant, the direct view of the Tectonic Arena Sardona is overwhelming. An excellent kitchen with numerous menu suggestions for the physical well-being, cooked whenever possible with products from local provenance. You can relax in the sauna, also made of larch wood; After the cleansing sauna session, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Glarner Alps in the relaxation room. The friendly guest rooms convey comfort through the balanced use of oak wood. And you can rest wonderfully on the native alpaca fiber mattresses. The hotel manager insists on adapting the room temperature to the individual wishes of the guests. There are several cable cars in the Elm area that take you to a sunny hiking and snowy paradise in just a few minutes. Hotel Elmer in Elm - my recommendation for a short or longer vacation. I organized a hiking weekend with 50 people and thus booked the whole hotel! A real stroke of luck for us and I think also for Elm! Here you can confidently feel like a guest. After a friendly welcome, the parasols were placed without being asked so that each of us could sit in the shade. The menu is clear and mainly includes classics, which are freshly prepared. The wine list is also well sorted and there are certainly pearls at reasonable prices.
