This is not a hotel its a charity organisation where workers are working for free they dont even get their tips.Theys no use for Guests to leave tips for the waiters #SilverForestMustFall #charityorganisation #StopTakingTipsForWaiters

My husband and I stayed on a couples package, which included a couple's massage and money towards our dinner, plus the Bed and Breakfast in a garden room. We arrived early as we had booked our Spa on the day of arrival. Our timings were wrong, our fault, but we were made to feel welcome in either the spa area or the outside dining space. We had time to have a small lunch and drink before our treatment started. The pizza was outstanding! Our couples massage was so good too. Both therapists were excellent and we both felt completely relaxed. Our dinner in the restaurant was excellent. We had a fixed price meal which offered excellent value and our contribution in our room rate was deducted from this charge. Overall, the hotel was smaller than we were expecting, 10 rooms, I believe, but the team were excellent and could never do enough to ensure our stay was perfect. Thank you!

What a find! Charming boutique hotel tucked away up the hill - worth the effort to find it though - personalized greeting, warm staff who go out of their way to help and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are of a high standard, as was the food. We took the liberty of a massage in the spa - have to say that is one of the best massages I've had in recent times - thank you to Samantha for that. Highly recommend and my only regret here is that we can't stay longer !

As a man i waited till 99.9 to find and book a place for my wife and i for the past valentines day. From the first email right to the last checkout it was a absolute blessing to have visited Silver forest. Rooms excellent, Staff Excellent, food out of the world, massage amazing, the only thing i can complain about is that we had to leave. I would go back any day any time. Penny and her Whole team is amazing. Business, relaxation, switch off, romantic they have it all and will cater to any need even if it was like mine at 99.9.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights from the day of our arrival in South Africa. Accommodation was clean and bed very comfortable. A very decent swimming pool to cool down in and relax. Good breakfast with plenty of choices. We ate in on the first evening and had sushi which was good. We went out on the other two nights but in hindsight we might have been better to eat in on one of those evenings as we ventured out to wine estates near Stellenbosch which was a hassle due to unreliable taxis. The staff at Silver Forest were excellent and always went the extra mile in providing help and service - a special mention and thank you to the managers, Nyasha and Charlie. We travel the world for business as in the travel industry - with over 40 years experience of staying in hotels of all different types and stars. Our stay here was exceptional- quiet relaxing really clean and tidy. The staff are fabulous ( nothing is to much trouble ). Charlie made our stay perfect.. in South Africa there is so much choice but here i really feel you get the experience you want and need from a holiday - the food is delicious the chef very much cares about you enjoying your meal. I just feel here it’s about the attention to detail and personalisation- had a massage in the spa was amazing- myself and husband will most definitely be back here, I noticed a few negative reviews and I was a little worried .. how ever I have not found any issues. I guess you can’t please everyone all of the time … my perfect little oasis and just what I needed - Thank you 😊

Beautiful spacious room, comfortable beds, nice size bathroom- excellent breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. Will definitely stay here again so we can try out the spa and pizza restaurant. We had a lovely view of the garden

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Silver forest. From the moment of arrival greeted with bubbly and lavender I relaxed. The rooms were tranquil. The staff friendly and efficient. The breakfast excellent. Lovely vibe and atmosphere.Will be back.

A delight -calm, peaceful and with very attentive staff. The rooms are beautifully equipped; the spa experience was wonderful and the food proved at the restaurant was also lovely (both for the dinner and for breakfast)
