What an amazing place! From the first minute we walked through the door - on very short notice - we where met like long lost family! We were immediately invited for supper with the rest of the guests and owner Jo. We unfortunately had to move out the next morning being 31 December, but was invited to share New Year's Eve with Jo and her amazing guests. Needless to say, we made live long friends. We LOVED every minute of our stay at VIlla Tarentaal. We have already made arrangements for a next visit! Jo went to the extremes to make our stay super wonderful. Delightfully quaint and the bathroom to die for. Clean, neat, tidy, superbly lovely!

We had an awesome visit to Villa Tarentaal on our way to Cape Town. The owners and mangers Joe and Angie were excellent hosts. The room was spacious and comfortable and had everything one needs. We enjoyed the pool and a walk around the garden. They have plans for some additional accommodation and we wish them well. They also made excellent recommendations for things to do in Tulbagh.

As soon as you enter the Villa it felt like family. Jo and Angie just have that welcoming heart. They respect your privacy, but as soon as you asked for help they are available. The tent was so cosy and neat and just an amazing feeling when you wake in the morning and the sounds of the birds and the peacefullness. My first Glamping experience at Villa Tarentaal very memorial. Thank you guys.

Love, love this home from home! Comfortable, stylish decor, INCREDIBLE hospitality from Angie and Jo....and all the gorgeous fur babies! It is no wander we return again and again! So enjoyed sharing in the exciting developments on the farm, seeing the new aviary, the gorgeous tented accommodation and view deck, together with hot tubs take this gem of a place to a new level! Super close to all the wine farms in Tulbach which serve as wonderful little outings.
