Everything was very nice and charming. Clean. Until I woke up around 2 am to use the bathroom and there were roaches crawling on the coffee maker and the bathroom counter.

Me and my wife recently spent aometime in this beautiful motel ...staff is very nice and courteous...the room was absolutely spotless ...very clean and neat ...will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend!

The staff was VERY helpful, courteous and efficient!! The place as a whole is very clean considering they are remodeling half of the hotel!! The rooms are freshly renovated and are amazing. They have very retro feel and look to them! We appreciate the service and the whole experience. Highly recommend this place and will be back!!

I could not find one thing to criticize at Golden Sands. Well thought out rooms, plenty of storage,full length mirror, many hooks to hang sandy beach stuff. Comfortable area to sit and relax with dinning table big enough to play cards or a board game. Ample space and privacy on balcony with unbelievable view. The staff was excellent! Very pleasant, helpful, and the type of people you like to do business with, especially when on vacation! Late checkout was very accommodating! Highly recommend!

The mattress on the beds in the family suite was too stiff, no hair dryer in the bathroom, need iron board and iron in the room. Would have been nice to have a broom and dust pan in the room, walking on the beach sand was throughout the whole room, and bathroom, just about every where you walked in our suite. Overall good place to stay with our family. Staff was friendly.

Old school type hotel, clean and well run. Restaurant and ocean front tiki bar. Very clean refurbished rooms, no carpet and pet free (yeah!).

The property provided easy beach access and incredible views of the ocean. As close to the beach as you can get without camping on the beach.
The rooms open to the outside; door leaked during a thunderstorm.
