this hotel was near to the castle, and marina. the room was up to standard. How ever, would not stay again, no air conditioning made the room like a sauna. the last morning the room was 25 degrees as it was a very hot day. so if you like sleeping in a sauna it would have been brilliant.

Needed a bed for the night near the port for a very early start. Premier Inn at Carrick Fergus seemed like the perfect choice and it didn’t disappoint. Comfortable, clean room all the facilities that we needed.

Disappointed that there was no Free Wi-Fi as advertised....Every time I tried to access the Internet It kept prompting me to UPGRADE to ULTIMATE Wifi....So in effect it was saying IF you want to gain access to the Internet then you have to pay for it...... Devious way to extract more money from guests.

Was happy with the hotel itself. Fairly basic but had everything i needed. Had lunch in the hotels attached restaurant which was a brewers fayre restaurant. Food was not great quality (just about edible). Felt like cheap stuff which was just not up to the standard I was expecting of a restaurant. And was definitely overpriced for the quality. Cant speak for the breakfast or dinner menu as we didnt eat there for those meals but lunch was not good. Other than that it was perfectly satisfactory.

The team on reception (Nicola in particular) were really very helpful indeed. I was on a business trip and when I realised I was missing something I needed for a meeting the next day, they were happy to step in and print me something that saved the day.

So disappointed with our stay this time.We have been coming here since our kids were small and they are 18 and 21 now. The hotel was quite run down ...one of the brewers fayre toilet doors was missing and a traveller wedding was taking place .This made us really uneasy .A complete section of restaurant was out of bounds for regular guests at both evening meal and breakfast and there was an awful uneasy a**osphere in the air . This was our absolute favourite hotel to get away from the everyday toll of life at excellent rates but has completely put us off this PI .

I have stayed at Premiere Inns all over the UK in the past 12 months and the service and comfort are always at the worst good. The service staff Premiere Inn at Carrickfergus is the best I have had by a far stretch. Working with what they have (management need to invest and update a few things to keep on par with some England branches) Kirsty and Andrea can’t do enough, I have never seen such dedication to customer service anywhere in the world. I would recommend that if anyone who checks in and isn’t happy with anything these true professionals will pull all stops to take things right. I don’t have the names but cleaning and service staff are also excellent, I stayed for a few days and had very specific requirements and all plus more were accommodated. All I can say is Executives at Premier Inn you have exemplary staff who care very much. No
